We had the good fortune of connecting with Jacob Jang and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jacob, Let’s talk about principles and values – what matters to you most?
The most important values to me are people and relationships. Reflecting on my past, I realize that my most significant moments were shaped by the people in my life and the relationships we shared. I have experienced joy and sorrow through these connections, and they have profoundly influenced who I am today.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Maybe it’s because I genuinely enjoy connecting with people and forming friendships, but my goal has always been to create jewelry that brings happiness and radiates positive energy. Our jewelry is designed to be sturdier and more comfortable to wear, ensuring both durability and ease. Beyond the basics, we focus on making our pieces sparkle brilliantly and look exceptionally beautiful, all while emitting positive vibes.
I’m proud that our jewelry can make someone’s day a little brighter, whether they are wearing it themselves or gifting it to a loved one. Our mission is to ensure that anyone who wears or gifts our pieces experiences a burst of positive energy and has a more vibrant day.
Reaching this point in our business journey hasn’t been easy. We’ve faced numerous challenges, but each one taught us valuable lessons. Perseverance, adaptability, and a commitment to our vision have been key. We’ve learned the importance of quality, both in product and service, and the power of genuine connections with our customers.
What sets us apart is our unwavering dedication to not just creating beautiful jewelry, but also fostering positivity and happiness. We want the world to know that our brand is built on a foundation of love for people and a desire to make a positive impact. Our story is one of passion, resilience, and the belief that even small pieces of jewelry can make a big difference in someone’s life.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
My best friend, who lives in Korea, is planning to visit Los Angeles, USA, for the first time in October of this year. I’m excited to make this trip unforgettable by planning every detail, from accommodations to meals, places to visit, and the stories we’ll share.
She’ll be staying at my home, where I’ll make sure everything is comfortable and welcoming. I’ll prepare freshly washed bedding and bath towels to make it feel just like her own home.
For breakfast, we’ll enjoy fresh produce from California, including vegetables and fruits, along with eggs and other proteins. It’s a great way to start our days together.
One of the best things about Los Angeles is its diverse culinary scene. We’ll take full advantage of this and try different cuisines each day of the week. We’ll enjoy classic American diner fare, authentic Italian pasta and pizza, flavorful Mexican tacos, spicy Thai curry, rich Indian dishes, and, of course, savory Korean barbecue.
Our days will be packed with visits to iconic places. We’ll explore the vibrant arts district and museums in Downtown LA, experience Korean culture and food in Koreatown, relax on the beautiful beaches of Santa Monica, walk the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and take a hike to see the Hollywood sign. We’ll also stroll down Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills to admire the luxury boutiques.
To add a bit of nature to our trip, we’ll take a day trip to Big Bear, where we can enjoy the scenic mountain views, go hiking, and maybe even try some water activities.
A week is a short time, but I’m sure it will be filled with wonderful experiences, delicious food, and meaningful conversations about life and how to live it meaningfully. I’m looking forward to showing my best friend all the beauty and excitement Los Angeles has to offer.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I was greatly influenced by my childhood friends, who have been with me through thick and thin, and by my faithful mother, who raised me with unwavering support. My father also played a pivotal role by providing me with books that nourished my mind. Additionally, Dr. Shin Byeong-cheol from Mid Campus in Korea, who teaches brand marketing, has been a significant mentor. I’ve learned about gratitude and found inspiration from books such as those by Rajneesh, Dale Carnegie, “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People,” and “Power vs. Force” by Dr. David Hawkins.
