We had the good fortune of connecting with Jade Dee and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jade, what do you attribute your success to?
The key factor behind my success as a DJ and in building my brand has been my dedication to connecting with the audience and creating experiences that resonate with them. I’m grateful for my journey, from being a DJ in the Philippines to performing in different venues here. I’ve focused on truly understanding what people want to hear and feel, which has helped me adapt and keep the energy alive throughout events. My passion for music and the joy of seeing people enjoy themselves motivate me. I’ve also been fortunate to collaborate with brands, which has allowed me to share my work with more people and continue growing in this field.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My art is all about creating a connection, bringing people together through music, and crafting experiences that linger long after the event is over. What sets me apart is my ability to read the room and adjust seamlessly, creating an atmosphere that resonates with everyone present, whether it’s an intimate gathering or a large-scale event. I’m proud of my journey from being a DJ in the Philippines to building my name here in LA and beyond. It hasn’t been easy—far from it. A lot of people doubted me, and there were moments when I felt put down, but I kept going.

I overcame those challenges by staying true to my passion, surrounding myself with supportive friends and family, and constantly refining my craft. Every setback taught me resilience and fueled my drive to work harder and stay humble. I’ve learned that believing in yourself, even when others don’t, is crucial.

I want the world to know that my brand and story are rooted in perseverance, love for music, and the joy of creating memories for others. No matter how difficult the road, if you hold on to your purpose and push through, you can achieve what once seemed impossible. I’m proof that you can overcome doubts and keep reaching for your dreams.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was visiting, we’d kick things off with a shot of tequila and head straight to the Hollywood sign for those epic views. The next day would be a full day at Disneyland, soaking in the rides and magic. We’d dedicate a day to shopping at The Grove and Rodeo Drive, mixing in brunch at The Butcher, The Baker, The Cappuccino Maker and dinner at Bestia. For nightlife, rooftops like Perch or Mama Shelter would be perfect for drinks with a view. We’d spend a day at Santa Monica Pier and Venice Beach, then explore The Getty for some culture. To end the week, we’d do a sunset hike at Runyon Canyon for the perfect goodbye to the city.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to dedicate this interview to my loving family and closest friends who never gave up on me. Their unwavering support, encouragement, and belief in my dreams have been my backbone throughout this journey. I am deeply grateful for their presence in my life, pushing me forward through every challenge and celebrating every victory by my side. Without their love and faith, I wouldn’t be where I am today. This moment is as much theirs as it is mine.
