We had the good fortune of connecting with JaiNishia Njie Savage and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi JaiNishia, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
When I launched my business, I relocated from New Jersey to Los Angeles and began watching YouTube videos of other creators who had moved to LA to begin a brand. These videos highlighted the importance of the fashion district and the Jury district in providing access to valuable resources. With this knowledge, I began my own brand with the goal of earning a residual or additional income in the event that I lost my job again.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’ve always been curious about self-care. Healing yourself with natural herbs and remedies has always been my go-to, and as I’ve gotten older, I have made sure that I am mindful and have healthy boundaries. I’m participating in things that bring me joy is important. My brand specializes in sustainability, recycling, and saving the planet, and we’re proud of that work.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Las Vegas, my current home, is filled with amazing places to visit. Whether you’re into golfing, sightseeing, museums, or mountain views, the options are endless. You don’t have to limit yourself to the strip, especially if gambling and casinos aren’t your thing. The possibilities are truly limitless. In fact, we even have the new Raiders stadium! And if you’re up for a road trip, LA is just four hours away, while Arizona is also a great destination to explore.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
For me!

I have had a wonderful support system throughout this journey, whether it be mentors, women’s groups, close friends, or my amazing husband; the support has not stopped!
