Meet Jamie Zayac | Model & actress

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jamie Zayac and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jamie, alright, let’s jump in with a deep one – what’s you’re definition for success?
For most people, success would be money and status. But for me, success is becoming fully expressed and living in alignment with the highest version of yourself. It’s freedom, not entrapment; it’s choosing, not tolerating.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
As an actor, I’m drawn to roles with characters that are flawed and carrying something beneath the surface. As a trained ICU nurse, I’ve stood in rooms where life changes in seconds. I’ve watched families fracture and reform in real time. That proximity to mortality reshaped how I see human behavior, fear, ego, and resilience.
What sets me apart is that I don’t romanticize struggle. I understand it. I’ve built my life in two very different worlds: medicine and film. One demanded precision and control; the other demands vulnerability and surrender. That duality informs everything I create.
I get excited to share the things I’ve learned along the way. First, rejection is information, not identity. Rejection and failure will not and does not define you. And also, your depth is your advantage.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
West Hollywood, dinner at the Chateau Marmont, drive up to Malibu. Hike the Hollywood sign seems like an obvious answer but is still a must do. Live music at Zebulon!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I have made a new friend, Rylin Rossano who is a 2x published author and podcaster. She has inspired me and many others to live authentically and to learn about myself deeply.
