We had the good fortune of connecting with Jasmine Goulding and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jasmine, how does your business help the community?
I believe my business helps the community and the world by building strong, independent individuals, especially young girls, who are learning valuable life skills through dance. I truly teach them more than just dance; I focus on helping them work hard, embrace constructive criticism, and become good humans who will contribute positively to society and their communities. It’s incredibly rewarding to watch these young dancers grow into confident, well-rounded individuals. I believe the lessons they learn in the studio—discipline, resilience, and teamwork—will empower them to become role models and leaders who inspire others and help build a better future.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I think what truly differentiates me from others is the care and attention I give to each child’s improvement and well-being. I believe in paying extra attention to every individual’s needs to ensure they excel. My greatest pride comes from witnessing my students’ hard work pay off—whether they’re reaching new goals, mastering a new trick, or finally receiving that award they’ve been striving for. Being a significant part of their lives and seeing them thrive is incredibly fulfilling. I strive to be their biggest role model and make a positive impact in their lives.
Getting to where I am today has been both challenging and rewarding. There have been many obstacles and people who tried to get in my way, but I’ve also been fortunate to have many supporters who have made the journey smoother. The road to success has required immense hard work, but it’s been driven by my passion and love for dance.
Overcoming these challenges has not only strengthened my resolve but has also made my dreams even more fulfilling and rewarding
What I want the world to know is how deeply passionate I am about dance and how much I care about my students. My commitment goes beyond teaching; it’s about nurturing their growth, celebrating their achievements, and being a positive influence in their lives. This passion and dedication are at the heart of my brand and story, and I’m excited to continue making a difference in our community and the world of dance.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If I were spending a week with my best friend in our small town, here’s how we’d make the most of it: We’d kick off our adventures with some delicious meals at Walkers Landing, 519 Table & Pour, and Old Garage Pizza—perfect spots for all our food and drink cravings. For our coffee fix, we’d swing by The Guest House for an iced coffee and a sweet treat because coffee and work dates are our favourite.
We’d also enjoy some indoor golf and patio games at the Birdie Barn, and explore the natural beauty of the Bruce Trails. A highlight of our week would be finding a cool spot to hammock camp, immersing ourselves in the great outdoors. We’d end our days with a breathtaking sunset at Kincardine Beach. With so much to explore and enjoy, our week would be packed with unforgettable experiences!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’m deeply grateful to the many wonderful people who have shaped my journey so far. First and foremost, a heartfelt thank you to my best friend, Chantel Zettel. Her unwavering cheerleading, relentless encouragement to reach out to a realtor, and her constant reminders of “Just do it already” provided the exact push I needed to take that first big leap.
To the remarkable dance families I’ve had the pleasure of meeting, your unwavering support and belief in me have been truly transformative. I genuinely could not do this without you and your amazing kids. Your enthusiasm, commitment, and kindness have created an environment where my dreams can flourish, and for that, I am endlessly grateful. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
