We had the good fortune of connecting with Jax-Prince Cottrell and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jax-Prince, is there something you can share with us that those outside of the industry might not be aware of?
That despite the world of professional BDSM being predominantly white, many Black women/femmes/nonmen Doms & Dominatricies have a significant leg up over their white female counterparts simply because they’re Black.

Black women, femmes, and nonmen are highly worshipped, while at the same time being highly fetishized, same as we often experience in every day life outside of BDSM.

However, most outsiders would be shocked to know that even the most “racist, maga supporting Trumper” secretly wishes to be bent over by a Black woman, femme, or nonmen, and pegged within an inch of their pathetic little lives with a thick, black strap on.

I would know. I’ve bent over enough of them.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
When it comes to my various arts, I’ve got many different quills in various colors of inks.

With my voice acting, I can be anything from a surly old king, to an excited kindergartener. With my performances, I hope to move people to tears; to laughter, to suspense, and every gamut of emotion I can invoke within them.

For my role and work as a Professional Dominatrix of fifteen years, I give Black women, femmes, nonmen, queer people, and everyone seeking a safe space to explore their kinks and fetishes in a healthy, safe, and informed environment.

As a Kink Educator, I can pass along that knowledge to those with interest.

And as a Content Producer & Creator, I can connect with, and help, so many different people who see my content, and either feel seen, validated, happy, or any mixture of emotions.

I want the world to see that as someone who is Black, Nonbinary-transgender, Autistic, and Pansexual, that while, yes, I am a sex worker, I also have a wide intersection of talents and artistry that makes up the essence of who I am, and that, yes, those intersections can exist proudly and openly in the ever-judging eye of society.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I absolutely love Little Tokyo! As a all around nerd, it’s one of my favorite haunts to just go and enjoy some good ramen, culture, and shopping!

Next up would be a trip to a local BDSM dungeon, preferably one that was Black-owned and queer-friendly. I’d want them to see the underside of LA and step into my world for a bit.

At some point we’d head to DTLA and hit up The Perch for a beautiful view of the city, but then again we could also hit up the Standard Hotel and chill by the pool overlooking all of DTLA.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First, to the iconic Maki Roll for even recommending me for this interview! Love you to bits n tits, and I stay proud of you:

To my mother in heaven, chilling out with my other ancestors: I am your wildest dream, and I will continue to make you proud.

To my father and sisters and loved ones still with me, thank you. I wouldn’t be here without you. I promise I’m going to be successful and we’ll all live happy lives.
