Hi Jayr and Alisa, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
The thought process behind starting our business was rooted in a genuine love for human connection and storytelling. We wanted to create something more than just a service — we wanted to build an experience. With our photo booth and self-portrait studio, our goal is to offer people a fun, interactive way to capture moments that matter. Whether it’s a wedding, a birthday, or a date night activity at our studio, we believe that memories deserve to be preserved in a way that’s both creative and meaningful. By combining our passion for photography and special events with the joy of shared experiences, we’ve built a space where people can celebrate themselves and life’s little milestones whether it be at our Self-Portrait studio or renting our photo booth.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Our work is about creating a unique experience — one that reflects our personal style and vision. While there are many studios out there, we’ve developed our own workflow and creative approach that sets us apart, whether it’s for fast-paced events or intimate self-portrait sessions.

What makes us different is how hands-on and intentional we are. We focus on every detail and strive to make people feel seen and celebrated in every shot. It hasn’t always been easy, but staying focused, consistent, and passionate has helped us grow.

As a small business, we’re just trying to make our mark — and we’re proud of how far we’ve come by staying true to ourselves.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
There are so many hidden gems in the Inland Empire area, I would take my best friend who isn’t familiar with the area with this itinerary.

Morning: Start your day at Mestiza Coffeehouse in downtown Ontario. This charming Hispanic-owned café offers a cozy atmosphere with beautiful interior decor. Enjoy their specialty coffee and indulge in their delectable pastries, setting a delightful tone for the day.​

Midday: Head over to Ontario Mills, California’s largest indoor outlet and value retail shopping destination, boasting over 200 stores. It’s a shopper’s paradise with a vast selection of brands and dining options. ​

Afternoon: Make your way to Victoria Gardens in Rancho Cucamonga, an open-air lifestyle center that combines shopping, dining, and entertainment. Stop by Yard House for their extensive selection of draft beers and enjoy their happy hour offerings in a lively setting.​

Evening: Catch a comedy show at the Ontario Improv Comedy Club, located within Ontario Mills. It’s a great spot to unwind and share some laughs. ​

Nightcap: Conclude your day at Haven City Market in Rancho Cucamonga. This modern food hall features a variety of eateries, offering diverse culinary options to satisfy any craving.​

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
We really owe a lot of our success to the way we’ve supported one another from day one. As partners in both life and business, we’ve learned how to push through the hard moments by staying grounded in our shared vision and always having each other’s backs. We’ve also been incredibly lucky to build strong relationships with our clients — many of whom have become part of our growing community. Their continued support, referrals, and kind words have helped shape our business into what it is today. And we’re also grateful for our friends and family who’ve helped spread the word by sharing our work on social media, sending referrals, and cheering us on from the sidelines. It’s those everyday acts of encouragement that have truly made a difference and remind us why we started in the first place.
