We had the good fortune of connecting with Jayy and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jayy, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking.
Risk-taking has played a huge role in my life. Every day brings new risks and opportunities to navigate. One of the biggest risks I took was pursuing a career in modeling and acting. Looking back, I’ve accomplished so much more than I initially expected. Taking this leap has not only brought me success, but it’s also given me a deep sense of accomplishment. I’m finally doing something I’ve always dreamed of.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m an aspiring model and actress, navigating this journey of life with the hope that one day I’ll be published or land a role in a movie. This path hasn’t been easy, but it’s been full of exciting adventures. Along the way, I’ve learned many valuable lessons. One day, I know the world will see me—but if not, that’s okay because the few who support me mean the world.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
My favorite spot is The Nile. The drinks are great, the food is delicious, and the music always sets the perfect vibe.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Shout out to the lady who brought me into this world! Growing up, I watched my mom battle a serious illness. No matter how much pain she was in or how miserable she felt, she never let it stop her. She kept pushing forward, doing what she wanted to do and going where she wanted to go, no matter the obstacles. Her strength and determination are a constant source of inspiration for me. She’s the biggest reason why I never give up.
