Meet Jenn Jett Barrett | Visionary and Founder of The Well Summit

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jenn Jett Barrett and we’ve shared our conversation below.

What should our readers know about your business?
The Well Summit exists to cultivate experiences and environments that bring healing and wholeness to communities from the outside in. We believe that when women (and men someday) can unpack the lies and fear that hold them back from true soul rest, they impact the communities they return to. The values we bring to small intimate spaces are hospitality, authenticity and courage to talk about the hard things.

I hosted my first experience in 2016. 5 weeks before, my husband of 15 years left me for the third time. Here I was standing before 30 women looking to me for leadership and inspiration. I decided at the last minute to share with them a glimpse of the story I was in the middle of. That one decision changed the course of our experiences. We realized what women longed for authenticity. They wanted to kn ow they weren’t alone. They wanted to be free of negative comparison and feel like they belonged.

I am a dreamer. I love to build new things. I have wanted to quit so many times and move on to the next shiny object. I am not a natural maintainer. So continuing to faithfully maintain this business for the last 6 years has been hard but the most fulfilling and life giving thing I have done.

I have learned the deep impact and ripple effect of “small” – that BIG isn’t always the answer.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love food, so alot of experiences would surround food and my favorite places to eat. Fall will be the best place to visit – our falls are magical. We have 3 main towns in our area. I would head north to Bentonville where we have a world renown art museum strategically tucked into the Ozark landscape. Afterward, we would head to my favorite mexican restaurant called Tacos and Tamales. Another evening I would take them to Sassafras Winery and we would sit outside, drink wine and eat pizza surrounded by the hills and vineyard. If they are here on a Saturday we wouldn’t miss a college football game and head to my favorite burger spot, Hugos and then finish the night off at Puritan for a coffee or cocktail. And since they will be here for a week, we would head 1.5hr north to Big Cedar Lodge and spend the day at their magical spa, ending it with the perfect sunset at Top of the Rock and dinner at the Buffalo Bar.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My crew of Dream Defenders. I have the most incredible group of friends who know me & love. They know my weakness and my strengths. They remind me what is true when I am distracted by lies that I believe about who I am and what I am capable of. They call me out and build me up. We are all on mission together to help people get unstuck and flourish in life. They are not only some of my best friends but they are also the team that surrounds me.
