We had the good fortune of connecting with Jennifer Solares and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jennifer, have there been any changes in how you think about work-life balance?
Work-life balance can change significantly over time based on various factors, such as job demands, personal responsibilities, and life stages. It often starts off feeling manageable, but as responsibilities grow—like New responsibilities, family changes, or new commitments—it can become more challenging.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Over the past six years, our Non profit organizations has grown from serving 100 children to sending gifts and essential supplies to over 1,000 children in Guatemala, Mexico, and cities around Los Angeles, county. We also opened a computer in guatemala for nearby schools to assist children in bettering their education. (Free of cost) We understand the importance of love and action, and we strive to provide food, school supplies, backpacks, and toys, making the holiday season memorable for those who need it most.

**What Sets Us Apart:**
What truly sets us apart is our unwavering commitment to connecting with the community and prioritizing the educational growth of underprivileged children. My networking efforts and dedication have been instrumental in driving our mission forward.

**Lessons Learned:**
Through my journey, I’ve learned invaluable lessons about the power of interpersonal relationships and the significant impact they have on personal and organizational growth. Understanding the mindset shifts required for underprivileged kids has deepened my resolve to provide them with hope, faith, and opportunities.

**Our Message to the World:**
I want the world to know that every child deserves a chance at a brighter future. My mission is to instill hope and faith in these children, showing them that opportunities exist and they can aspire to. Opening more computer labs to help local school and children with their school work.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
During our friend’s week-long visit to Southern California, we will explore vibrant Hispanic culture by visiting Olvera Street and enjoying authentic foods at La Barca and El Coyote in Los Angeles. We will delve into art at LACMA and Balboa Park, savor traditional Oaxacan cuisine at Guelaguetza and Casa Oaxaca, and experience the lively atmosphere of Casa Guadalajara with live Mariachi in San Diego. We’ll enjoy breakfast tacos at Chico’s Tacos, discover local culture at the Bowers Museum, and relax at farmers markets while indulging in fresh Hispanic snacks. Each day will be filled with delicious culinary experiences and rich cultural exploration! Last stop will be our family owned donut shop Good To Go Donuts in Rancho Cucamonga to have the best donuts in town.
