Meet Jennifer Tinucci | Publicist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jennifer Tinucci and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi jennifer, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
In 1992, I graduated from the University of Colorado in Boulder, CO with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and an emphasis in International Marketing. When I was growing up, I was the editor of my High School Newspaper. As an adult, one of my children was in the entertainment industry and I did a lot of PR work for him. The combination of my skills and experience lent itself to starting my own PR business. I had the degree and the experience and was very passionate about Public Relations so it was a perfect fit. I initially started my career in a sales for a medical device company, and my sales background was also very helpful in being able to pitch clients for events and press. I have always felt that it is very important to love what you do and so I started my own PR company where I was able to combine my skills and passion in a strategic way that allowed me to help my clients further their careers in the entertainment business.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Key Elements PR is a premier boutique public relations firm located in Los Angeles, specializing in branding & imaging, press, social media, and events. We are dedicated to helping individuals and companies in the entertainment industry rise above the noise with impactful and strategic PR solutions. Our team goes beyond traditional PR, crafting a tailored approach that aligns all the essential elements for your success. From establishing a unique brand identity to maximizing red carpet and networking opportunities, we guide our clients to create a cohesive and effective marketing strategy that shines in every channel. What sets us apart is our experience, personal industry connections, and long term success in the industry. We work with up and coming actors/musicians/models and creators as well as established ones. We help our clients get out to events so that they can network and increase their social media presence, and we also pitch them for press. In addition, we plan a lot of events and also get hired to manage red carpets for companies and or talent who have upcoming film premieres, EP releases, special occasions and more. We started out in 2011 and over the years have steadily built our contact base and overall industry experience.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Some of my very favorite places were sadly affected by the Palisades fire, some are still standing and I would really try to focus on helping local businesses in those areas. When we have company in town we always enjoy a day at the beach with lunch or dinner at Paradise Cove Beach Cafe, which did make it through the fires. One of our other favorite places off of the PCH was Moonshadows, which was sadly destroyed by the fire. If the businesses that were burned rebuild, I will definitely try to support them with visits as often as possible.
Other favorite places are the Warner Brothers Studio Tour, Santa Monica Pier, Disneyland, The Getty Museum, The Hollywood star homes tours/double decker bus tours and of course, the beach. I also make sure to visit The Americana and The Grove when we have guests in town.
In addition, I always enjoy visiting the many afternoon tea houses in the Los Angeles Area such as The Huntington Rose Garden, the T Room in Montrose. and for something more on the upscale side, the Peninsula in Beverly Hills.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Definitely my spouse and business partner Robert Tinucci. He and I work seamlessly together to make all aspects of our business a success. He and I are very different in our skill sets and personality, and that lends itself perfectly to running a business. I am the more creative one and he is the more technical one. Neither of us would be where we are today without the other, it’s a perfect balance.
