We had the good fortune of connecting with Jenny Huber and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jenny, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Diligence, hard work and dedication! Everything we do at HEM is rooted in integrity and offering our clientele unparalleled estate and life management services. Reputation and referrals are everything in our industry and our President and Founder, has dedicated the last two decades to honing the art of private service. As a Company, we only hire people with a proven track record in the private service industry and therefore, have been able to maintain the highest standards. The entire HEM team pride themselves in going above and beyond for clients, we offer fully bespoke and customizable services. There is no one size fits all and flexibility, efficiency and adaptability are key.

What should our readers know about your business?
We founded Heritage Estate Management to provide a one-stop shop approach to household and estate management. Jenny’s experience and training, in both private service and domestic staffing, allow her to quickly assess a households needs and implement highly effective methods, protocols and procedures to ensure the seamless running and management of luxury homes and lifestyles.

Jenny began her career working in movie production before transitioning in to private service as a Personal Assistant and Estate Manager. Following a decade in service supporting high profile families and estates, it was a natural progression to move in to the staffing of high end homes and estates. Her experience in household management and staff training equips her with the ability to assess both a candidates qualifications and suitability to a role and the needs of the household with ease.

We are a boutique company, not volume based, clients often come to us with frustrations about being sent people that are not the right fit and sometimes completely miss the criteria, just because they are available. They like that we take the leg work away for them by hand selecting from our pool of vetted and qualified candidates, based on specific requests and needs. We build relationships with our clients and candidates over time and learn their needs and wants so that we are able to find the perfect match both in homes and office settings.

We are celebrating 8 years of Heritage Estate Management this year and are managing over a dozen estates as well as providing hundreds of clients with valuable team members. The biggest challenge has been in building our dream team, finding the right people to nurture our client and candidate relationships, you really have to be passionate about helping others.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
There are so many amazing things to see and do here. Definately as many beach towns as possible! We have three young children and love being “tourists”, going on whale watching outings, the Aquarium, Zoos, Disneyland, Griffith Park and the Observatory and Universal Studios. Favourite restaurants to take friends and family to are Paradise Cove, The Sunset Restaurant, Lanea, Hendry’s on the Beach, Cheesecake Factory in Marina Del Rey.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
It has to be my husband and HEM COO Michael Huber, without whom, I’d never have been able to find the courage to even contemplate starting my own business in this industry that I love! He has an MBA and has really been at the heart of HEM since inception.
