We had the good fortune of connecting with Jeremy Wang and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jeremy, how did you come up with the idea for your business?
My wife and I were living in New York when she found out we were pregnant and we decided to come back home to LA. Her friend said that her dad had a cleaning business here in LA and suggested that we get in touch with him and we did. He and his son patiently taught us the ropes and suggested that we try working with Real Estate agents and Property Managers to help them prepare homes to put on the market.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We specialize in move-in/out cleanings + window washing. What sets us apart is that we stand by our work 100% and take pride in what we do. A friend once told me that there is always going to be someone cheaper than you. You don’t have to always compete with prices if you offer superior service and quality.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Arlington Gardens in Pasadena! I’d say it’s the best kept secret in Los Angeles.

Located on the site of what was once the largest home in Southern California at 17,000 sq ft, it was sold in the 1960s and since then was used as a staging area for the now defunct 710 freeway extension project.

Now, there is an olive allee, pomegranate amphitheater, vernal pool, meadow, seasonal wash, orange grove and much more, which makes for a beautiful stroll. I’d say it is one of the best kept (free) secrets in Pasadena and Los Angeles.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Of course my hard working wife! I remember when we first started out, we would on all and any jobs, at any time of day or night as we didn’t know when our next job would come in. I remember cleaning at 2:00 AM in the morning and driving down to the southern part of Orange Country for small jobs. She always was the backbone of our company and could not have done it without her.
