Hi Jerijah, how does your business help the community?
Hustle and Pray Clothing prioritizes spreading the Word of God. I strive to give people a reminder of the importance of Christ; from fashion to making a statement. I simply spread a positive message through my apparel, to make people consider the lifestyle they choose to live.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My name is Jerijah Freeman and I am the owner of Hustle -&- Pray Clothing. A Streetwear/Athletic Apparel Brand that prioritizes spreading the Word of God. I am most proud of seeing the positive affect my brand has on people, especially when they first see it. My brand is what every person does on a daily basis, no matter the background or location. As a business owner, you come to a realization that not everyone is as supportive or genuine as they make themselves out to be. Getting over that fact, it forces you to grow; personally it makes me want to push more grace and honor into the world. God-willing, I am at a place in my business where I see the meaning and the product of the brand catching attention everywhere I go. However, this was not easy because you’re still learning the business while trying to grow the business. You don’t anticipate most of the trials and tribulation you go through because you don’t expect them. I’ve learned to always prepare for the unexpected, keep your self ahead because it is very feasible to fall behind. Hustle -&- Pray Clothing will stay true to its message, James 2:26, and honor Christ before it honors itself. Love All.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my cousins were coming to the city, I would take them to Earls Grill on Crenshaw for some grub and more than likely drive down to the pier and find activities there throughout the day. By nightfall, we may have a chill game night or bible study.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
First and foremost, I Thank Jesus Christ because God is the only reason I’m capable of running a business. However, as a clothing brand owner, you run into a lot of situations where you have to do all the work, alone. This forces you to take a look around and see who actually offers a helping hand from a genuine place. I definitely give a shoutout to family simply for always encouraging me to keep progressing forward and keeping my head straight on my shoulders.
