Hi Jerry, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Risk is the biggest bet you can take on yourself. While uncomfortable the amount of growth you have after the process is worth it no matter the result.

If you truly believe and have faith , sky’s the limit , take that risk!

I believe art is a feeling. For me it’s all about the vibe and how it makes you feel. Invoking emotion , touching your soul.

I’m officially now 3 years into my solo music career and I feel nothing but blessed!

I’m about drop my debut EP “Bachata Con Alma”

I can’t say it’s been smooth sailing tho. 10+ years of being a musician for hire , countless sleepless nights , nights without pay sometimes , putting yourself at risk in general when going out there.

But all that to say I’m grateful for those experiences. I wouldn’t change it for the world.

The biggest lesson I’ve learned over the years is don’t ever quit. Don’t ever stop!

You’re just one bad day away from changing your life!

I aspire to be the motivation to anyone that you can do this by yourself. It is possible , if you put your mind to it everything will align!

I learned to produce , mix , master and edit my own videos to make things happen for myself.

The only thing getting in your way is you.

Don’t be your own worst critic.

Take a bet on yourself and love yourself to believe it’ll work and watch your perspective change.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Gotta head uptown to Inwood-Washington Heights for the good eats!

If you want the best Dominican food 24/7 you gotta check “Tierra & Mar” on the corner of 179th St & Broadway

There’s too many parks to name in the but the most beautiful parks that require a visit on any trip to the Big Apple are Central Park in Midtown , Dumbo Park in Brooklyn , Inwood Hill Park In Uptown Manhattan just to name a few.

Brooklyn & Queens definitely take the spot when it comes to nightlife and live venues.

It’s so diverse you can find anything you’re looking for really!

Take your time exploring the Big Apple , you never know what you’ll find!
