We had the good fortune of connecting with Jess Farinha and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jess, what habits do you feel helped you succeed?
Since childhood, I have always had a nudge about knowing things and understanding their background. It gives me pleasure to learn new things and expand my horizons, as it helps me grow intellectually and personally. When I came into the cleaning industry, my habit of constant learning helped me grab onto the knowledge, tips, and tricks required for cleaning a variety of things.
Other than this, I knew I had to stay consistent in my work if I wanted to create a brand. I have always tried to be consistent in my cleaning methods and provide top-notch cleaning sessions to my clients to make their homes healthy and beautiful.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
What sets London House Cleaners apart is our commitment to using sustainable products and practices to clean the house. We are dedicated to protecting the houses of our clients and the environment. We always want to innovate and discover new ways and strategies to provide excellent cleaning services while preserving nature.
Being a female entrepreneur in this man-centric world was not easy. I had faced my fair share of ups and downs, and it helped me learn the importance of independence but also know where one should ask for help. My difficult times helped me know whom to trust and whom to rely on during times of hardship.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend was visiting me, I would plan out everything beforehand to spend the best time together. On our first day, we would go to a café for breakfast, followed by going to Buckingham Palace to see the Changing of the Guard ceremony. We would have an amazing lunch in the afternoon and end our day by having dinner at Covent Garden.
On our second day, we will visit the Tower of London, museums, and historical exhibits to explore the cultural history of the town. We would attend theaters and events to get into the cultural vibe.
Our third day would be full of shopping at Camden Market, gossiping, and exploring city life.
The fourth day would be enjoyed by going on adventures like cycling, trekking, and boating.
The fifth day would be followed by relaxing and rejuvenating from all the adventure and physical activities done on the previous day.
Our sixth day would be filled with exploring the city’s history and learning about the landmarks and other important monuments. We will go to Baths, a UNESCO World Heritage, famous for its Roman Baths and Georgian architecture.
The seventh day will be the final day where we will spend time together in my house, watch movies, cook together, and bid farewell.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Definitely, there are some people who deserve credit for my success. First and foremost, it is my family. They were like a catching net that I could fall onto whenever I hit a setback. They never let my failure overcome my dream; instead, they helped me go through the failures and learn from them. They trusted me, supported me, and helped me become the person I am today.
And my team, of course! How can I forget about them? My team of dedicated professionals walked with me through every ups and downs and withstood every high and low. It is because of them that today London House Cleaners is among the best cleaning companies and provides the best services in the industry.
