We had the good fortune of connecting with Jessica Valentine and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jessica, what habits do you feel play an important role in your life?
Choosing to step outside of the normal 24/7 cycle and implementing a 168 hour week routine.

What works best is:
1) Setting an intention – how do I want to feel this week? what’s my vibe? how can I elevate the environment in my workspace?
2) Choosing 3 priorities – what is the ideal outcomes I want to generate? what deliverables need to be created? how can I rest?
3) Reflection session – Friday or Saturday morning ask myself, what did I receive this week (intrinsic, extrinsic, micro or macro), what do I want to release (lessons, learnings, challenges), and what results did I create (# of workouts, savings goals, energy evaluation – did I spend my time wisely)?

SUCH A GAME CHANGER.

I call it a weekly rhythm and it has changed how I approach work, well-being, and interact with the world around me!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My career has been a hybrid experience of balancing a corporate experience in the cyber security industry and teaching meditation and yoga.

What sets me apart is I am the person who needs highly impactful, effective mindfulness practices while balancing demands in a variety of roles, from executive conversations or inspiring high-achieving career women to grow their wealth, worth, and wisdom.

Today I work as a Client Advisor of a cybersecurity firm and am 18 months into a fulfilling side hustle, WiseWomanCo, as the CEO (Chief Energy Officer). I help high-achieving career women to bridge the gap between spirituality & strategy to increase their wealth, worth, and wisdom.

After a tearful, mental health breakdown in the peak of my career as an Organizational Strategist, I realized I was not applying yoga, meditation, or mindfulness to work.

This has helped me develop tools and help others rest, receive more, and own their worth as Wise Women.

What I want the world to know is that your wisdom is within you.

If you can begin to discern, through mindfulness practices as a foundational rhythm in your routine, you can develop a greater sense of self-trust. Through self-trust, especially as women in business or wellness, you can grow your net worth and self-worth.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Malibu Farm Cafe, Manhattan Beach, and to Melrose Farmer’s Market.

I loved Eataly, their cacio pepe and almond milk espresso macchiato is divine.

Spending the afternoon hiking then going to milk+honey for a massage before eating Gracias Madre would be my ultimate dream.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to shoutout to Pia Beck, CEO of CurateWellCo. She has elevated and uplifted the un-sexy BTS of my business.

With my current schedule of working full-time while growing my startup, WiseWomanCo, Pia has been instrumental in helping me align offerings, refine messaging, and automate the backend infrastructure.

Feels sexy and supported as a small business owner.
