We had the good fortune of connecting with Jesus Covarrubias and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jesus, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I want to clarify that it has been and is a lifelong process. Looking at where our business is now, compared to where we were two years ago, It would feel like we are looking down from a 13 ft story building. When we started, it wasn’t us – it was just me.
I started this on July 15, 2020, and I was scared out of my mind! Seriously I just walked away from a corporate job promising me a desirable position.
Mind you; I JUST HAD A BABY GIRL MARCH 2020!! I was terrified, but I knew what I wanted, and I knew I wouldn’t get the fulfillment I was looking for in this corporation.
It has been and always will be as simple as our value mission. “I WANT TO HELP PEOPLE”
See, I had failed plenty of times, and I searched for help starting my business each time. But, unfortunately, I had always run into the same three problems.
Problem number 1. EVERYONE WAS CHARGING ME! Not only charging me for info but at $300+ per meeting!
Jesus! How was I ever going to get a running start like this?
Problem number 2. Time! I had so little time trying to get started the right way. So I kept letting life get in the way.
Problem number 3. Education! I had no very little education, and guess what? If I wanted it, I had to spend money or time again.
It was infuriating! Starting this company was a mixture of my past failures and stresses! I knew other people must be going through the same pitfalls I had!
And guess what?? To my surprise, so many people still have these problems!
That’s how I started Integral Business Services LLC. With people in mind first. Always!
Since the 2020 Mid Pandemic, we have helped over 800! Small Business owners!
YES! Now we have a total of 2 employees and some freelancers assisting us. Our business focuses on the small business owners that need our help most!
We are incredibly thankful for them!

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
On paper we are a small business consulting company, but in reality we are much more than that. We’re creating generational wealth, breaking family curses, and paving the way for a new and old generation of entrepreneurs hitting the market. We are helping people take their first steps into the business world. We help small business owners legitimize their businesses by formalizing them with the state/county/city. We have helped over 800 small businesses across California from San Diego to Sacramento.

What set’s us apart is our relatability. I told myself when starting this company, I want people to get to know me. The real me! I got tired of watching youtube videos and seeing all these “experts” show up in Lambos to their highrise business office, with 4k videos, telling me that I can start my business, and become a millionaire, but first- You have to buy our 10k course.
No, we had to show people our mistakes, hiccups, while making real authentic videos. If we wanted to inspire people and show them, they can do it, they had to relate to the content!
What better way than just being myself?
Watch one of our videos and you will see my saying “uh, uhm, like..” with dark circles and looking sweaty from working all day. You get the feeling that hey! That’s been me! I have been there!
I felt this is what has helped create a strong community around us,

I started this solo with no more than $2,000.00 and left over equipment. It was not easy! I have worked 6 days a week over 12 hours each of those days for the last 2 years. The hardest part has been the relationships I have lost and missed along the way. To this day, missing my children is the hardest part of the job.
There are days I have to remind myself why I put myself through it all.
In the end of the day, what makes me feel better is seeing the stories of our clients and doing something that is much bigger than myself.
Now this section here is for the business owner. There are some practical challenges apart of personal life. I had to manually learn all of it! For some context, I am a chef, been one for over 8 years. I worked my way up being in charge of a team, managing schedules, projections, events and more.
So when I decided to take my life a full 180, I had to learn it all from the ground up!
This is tip for all business owners, get right into! You have to take the time to prep and research.
For me, that meant learning, SEO, website development, coding, marketing, sales, operations and more. Yes! I learned it through books, seminars, courses, and tons of university of youtube.
There really is no shortcut to success…
I am really proud to say that all of this, results in helping others.
We are excited for our next services. We are starting to go into education and really ruffle up the market. Our priority is still the same.
Solve the 3 main issues business owners deal with in the beginning.
Time
Monday
Education
So of course! We do not want to sell a 10k course to a beginning business owner! That is crazy! We really want to change the notion of competition and business. There is plenty for all of us to grow and live happy fulfilled lives.
We want people to view our business like a blue print, a how to video! They can literally see our beginnings and where we are today. We hope to inspire our audience, and if we inspired 1 person, we have won!
I was asked at some point, what would happen if you were a billionaire and you had everything? What does retirement look like?
To that I say, “You are looking at it! I would continue to lend my hands to those in need. My biggest asset it giving away my knowledge to the right people who are willing to do something with it. So a million or a billion, I would continue to help and use all of it to help more.” – Jesus Covarrubias

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
One of my favorite past times is visiting new places I have never been to. Before getting our office in Monrovia, Ca. I would take the family for occasional walks down Myrtle and see Mark Twain. Stop by Sweet Ethans and let the kids go wild as they loot the whole candy store. We have made it our mission to pick out different countries and visit restaurants that serve that type of food. Such as Mahan Indian Restaurant in Downtown Alhambra as we walk down the main street. Then we head over to Lucky Baldwins down in Old Town Pasadena. Some of my favorite times are walking down these historical streets and staring at the masonry of old buildings.
Yeah… I can be an old soul… Haha.
If you ever get a chance, we suggest walking down some of these smaller towns! The people are amazing and kind. However, if you want to take the family out and enjoy some great food, followed by dessert, I highly suggest walking down some of these main streets. You can find just about everything!
For a more romantic night, you can make some reservations in gorgeous settings; whether it is fine dining Korean food, Indian, or Mexican food, you name it! You can find it.

Try getting to Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ in Pasadena, where you can enjoy some Afters…well, right after. Then, enjoy a walk down Colorado with clubs, shopping, and more. You will thank me later!

Some new habits I am working on have been physical activities! I used to visit the gym religiously, and I haven’t been back since the birth of my littlest. So I made it a mission to join a gym. I could have gone with one of the more prominent gym brands, but I decided to try out Foothill Monrovia Gym, and I was seriously nervous!
Boy! I 100% suggest joining a family-owned gym. The energy in there is real! They have people of all levels, but you can feel the intensity and seriousness. It is like a little planet in there. Yet, I have never felt bad about working out nor felt unwelcome. If you are in the area, it is a must!
Another activity that has me hooked is Archery. I picked up a compound bow back in the Pandemic and never used it! Now every Saturday, you can catch me at a range, knocking arrows.
You have to try it at least once! But! I do warn you! It is highly addictive!

The crazy thing is! I have met more people who are kind enough to help and excited to share their knowledge and skills!
If you are looking for fun with friends, I suggest a few different breweries. In El Monte, Ca. You can find Progress, fans of microbrews, and some real genuine people. They offer a great selection, plus a vast indoor and outdoor seating area. Plus, if it is sports season, you will love it! Extra tip! South El Monte Progress only serves Beer and wine, but if you go to Progress on Main St., It has a fully stocked bar with some great Whiskey and Tequila.
If you are in Monrovia, you have so many options to enjoy a drink with good company. Wingwalker Brewery is located right off Myrtle and offers a beautiful indoor and outdoor seating area; down the street, you can visit Hop Secret Brewing Company or Pacific Plate Brewing Company! The list goes on! All of these towns have a great spot. You just have to take a small drive out there.
After a long work day, I love taking one of my best friends out to The Aztek Cigar Loung or Mi Havana House in Monrovia. Nothing like a nice relaxing night with some great friends.
We highly suggest spending some time in smaller, family-owned businesses. The impressions are life lasting.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Absolutely! Our audience and most loyal fans. Seriously, they mean the world to us! We wouldn’t be the business we are today without them. They are our muse and drive. Personally, my dedication is to small business entrepreneurs. Every story is a small capsule that I hold dear me. I don’t see clients; instead, I see journeys that come with fear, anxiety, courage, and bravery! Every “client” is an experience, and I am thankful that our clients let us walk into their worlds.
We have clients that crawled out of dark places and dealt with death, betrayal, and disappointment. Yet, their eyes are full of hope and growth. Others want to make a change and inspire those around them.
Those experiences are why we thank our clients for letting us be a part of their teams.
It brings us so much joy and inspiration!
So once again.
We thank all of our audience and fans.
