We had the good fortune of connecting with Jkeeth and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jkeeth, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I was always the kid who lived by my own rules. I always wanted to be in control of my own destiny. And getting my first job was the biggest eye opening experience for me. To have someone how much an hour of my time was valued at just never sat right with me. So being in control of my life was the real driving force behind it.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’m a singer, songwriter and just overall artist. I’ve been in love with Music since I was five years old. Being a singer started with my mom making me and my brothers sing Jackson 5 songs for my relatives for a dollar. Also, just listening to my mom blast gospel, music as we get ready to go to church. Down to playing the drums at church. I got my first recording deal in 2019 from a feature that I freestyle on one time then in 2020 I decided to move to California and met my management and we started a label called 1459 ENT basically a representative of Everyone’s 15 minutes of fame. From there, I’ve written songs for Mary J. Blige, Lola brooke and other artists as well that I can’t mention at this moment.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would love for my brothers to come out and visit. No one has really visited me since I moved to California. But if they were to come, the first thing we would do is go to my favorite taco truck. After that because we’re all pretty athletic individuals we would go to my favorite gym. I go to speakeasy fitness on western then we would probably rest in the next day. I would take them to Toca Madera. It’s one of my favorite restaurants and we would probably hike Runyon Canyon. That’s a great question. There’s so many places. I would love to take them since I’m not from here. I still see the beauty in California and I know that they would appreciate every single thing that we did. I would also probably take them to go kart racing at K1 Speed. I’ll take them out to Joshua tree so we can immerse ourselves in nature. We’re all pretty country boys so it’s only right. I don’t know that’s a great question. I might have to think a little bit my answer is might change a little bit later.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Honestly just want the give recognition to all of the people who believed in me. I’m blessed to have great friends. I’m blessed to have great brothers and sisters. I’m blessed to have great mentors. I’m blessed to say that there are people who inspired me daily even when they didn’t know it so shout out to them.
