We had the good fortune of connecting with john Green and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi john, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
The thought process of me starting my own business was i always wanted to run something that i was totally in control of. Its cool to work for people but its so much gratifying to be successful by your own means.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My art is the art of organization. The art of preparation. I Help the miniature artist @dannycortesnyc in different ways, whether its social media, or connecting with another creative or business. Or getting a product placed so he can rep it. Its always something different with the process. its awesome being behind the scenes and seeing things blossom. I also run a podcast that just finished season 6. thats a big thing due to me doing everything from editing to making merch for the show. its never easy but you get use to the grind. I run two online stores and all of this plus a 9 to 5. The lessons ive learned is you have to keep going. Dont listen to the critics, dont get caught up in what people are doing. Focus on your craft, focus on your business. Ive gotten to where i am today by working, Hustling, and not worrying about stuff that doesnt concern me. Im most proud of continuing to do the podcast and getting the message out to the masses.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Its simple when in LA you have to go to Marios Peruvian & Seafood its located on 5786 Melrose Ave, and its the best food ever. please take my word for it.

I Would Like to give Credit to my Tean Team Danny Cortes, Shutter ED, Freaky Fridge, neyita33, pito, 5050 STEVO, Everybody doing there thing one way or another. So its motivating to be around so many creatives all working towards GOALS.
