We had the good fortune of connecting with John Schleis and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi John, how does your business help the community?
As a retired big box manager, I can tell you that a large percentage of the returned items from customer returns (whether they’re damaged or not), will go to the claims department for a mark down to zero and then thrown into the trash dumpster!
What a waste! But this is how it goes in the big box business.
By having items professionally assembled, they will not go back to the store to the returns department and they will be used for the purpose that they were purchased!! WIN-WIN!

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Although iAssemble Anything was founded in 2015 we really grew leaps and bounds during the Covid years.

As parks were closed and offices were now at home everything is delivered you could only really enjoy your own personal property without restrictions. The point and click stores such as amazon.com blew up and everything was delivered to the door, and guess what… it needed to be assembled!!

Playsets for the kids, desks for the home office, shesheds/external workspace, gazebos to keep you cool the list goes on and on and on!

We went from 2 assemblers to 22!! Wow wow wow!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Mount baldy is an awesome site to see!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Walmarts stores taught me a lot and although I had made an early retirement voluntarily, I will always value all of the experiences from mass marketing in big box retail!
