We had the good fortune of connecting with Johnny Ruthless and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Johnny, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My thought process behind opening a business was basically having somewhere to work and providing space for others in the same field to do the same from the beginning of my career I knew I would sought out ownership. It’s something I always thought was possible through hard work dedication and determination. Manifestation has also played a huge roll on everything I’ve accomplished from traveling the country to tattooing celebrities. I’m definitely not one that comes from money or privilege. Watching my parents work and never have ownership has also played a huge roll.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I’m extremely hard working very passionate about what I do and I do nothing but push myself to become the best artist I can be. I’m also an urban street artist and have found a home on the streets of every city I visit around the country. I live the true definition of an artist. I a student of art and will continue to learn as long as I’m alive

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
The local spots I would take a friend to would be Venice , Santa Monica , Hollywood and downtown always has the best restaurants. We also have the best stand up comedy clubs in the country LA is known for its star power. Check out the Hollywood improv, laugh factory. And there’s always amazing shows at the Hollywood bowl

Definitely have to shout out my business partner esto Demented tattoo has been a collaborative effort to build the business my boy JB the barber has done a lot for me in the past and everyone at our shop EeL Loopy Dosik Jose .
