Hi Jomarie, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Have fun. Having fun and self-fulfillment is the core factor of my success. It’s the very thing that keeps me going; experimenting, new perspectives, and discovery in my art is so exciting. Do it for yourself first, make yourself happy, and your drive will never stop.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What came from a fun hobby that I shared with my friends turned into a business. I enjoy every second of videography and photography mainly from the aspect of sharing. What I am most excited about is telling a story, but not just speaking about it, but sharing a memory. Through the medium of videography, it is an amazing ability to be able to transport someone to that experience and bring the atmosphere as if they were there. My phrase throughout my journey of being an creative is “Making memories sharable.” Getting where I am professionally was not hard, it was fun, it was challenging (from a technical standpoint), it was something I always wanted to do. A lot of people want to tell their story, videography is a mean that is easily translatable for all people. What I want all my projects to reflect is the question, does this Have Heart? Does my work have depth? Did I put my heart and soul into my work? I want my viewers to feel the way I felt during this experience or film. I think people can feel that difference. And thats what people will get with HaveHeart Studios.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I find beauty in the simplest things, I enjoy a nice picnic in an open field. Preferably one with flowers, a view, anything of earth’s creations that we can just appreciate. I don’t particularly have a favorite place, adventure happens not at the destination, it happens when you have a special moment with whatever or whoever you spend it with.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Would love to recognize my good friend Mel! She was a huge support to my career, from the very start of my interest of videography. She believed in me before I even believed in myself to pursue it seriously. Fun fact, she gifted me my first camera, to get me started! She saw how happy I was and excited getting into camera work as a hobby, while I was shooting videos and photos on an iPhone. From her support, it really spurred me on to believe that I’m good enough do more, be more, and strive for things that were beyond my imagination.
