Hi Jonathan, do you have a favorite quote or affirmation?
“Stay Beautiful” is a powerful affirmation. It carries the essence of maintaining inner and outer beauty, not just in appearance but also in character, demeanor, and mindset. It’s a reminder to prioritize self-care, confidence, and positivity.

The phrase speaks volumes about the importance of embracing one’s uniqueness, both internally and externally. It conveys the idea that beauty isn’t confined to a particular look or standard but encompasses a sense of self-worth, grace, and authenticity.

The simplicity of “Stay Beautiful” makes it impactful; it’s a daily mantra that encourages continual growth, self-love, and appreciation for oneself and others. Embracing this affirmation means recognizing and celebrating the beauty within while also radiating kindness and beauty to the world around us.

To me, we are all Beautiful. We just need to believe it to own it!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Born and raised in Long Beach, California, I discovered my passion for the artistry of makeup over 25 years ago. Growing up in Galesburg, Illinois, my world revolved around the theatre scene, where I immersed myself in the transformative power of makeup for the stage. However, as much as I adored the theater, my heart yearned for a deeper exploration of the beauty industry.

Fueled by this passion, I made a pivotal decision to shift my focus entirely towards becoming a makeup artist and skincare consultant. This shift led me on a transformative journey that eventually brought me to Las Vegas. It was here that destiny intervened as I met my partner and fiancé, the catalyst for the birth of Desired Couture: House of Beauty (DCHB).

In 2018, my partner and I officially launched our dream: a mobile hair and makeup business that would bring personalized beauty services directly to our clients. However, the unforeseen challenges of the pandemic forced us to temporarily halt our newly established mobile enterprise.

During this unexpected pause, my partner, Xan Clancy, became my unwavering pillar of support. Encouraging me to follow my true love for esthetics, Xan inspired me to reignite my pursuit of excellence in the beauty industry. This encouragement led me to embark on a remarkable journey during the pandemic, returning to school to attain my license in Advanced Esthetics.

Today, Desired Couture: House of Beauty stands not only as a symbol of our dedication but also as a testament to the transformative power of passion, resilience, and unwavering support. Through this evolution, my commitment to enhancing beauty and confidence remains consistent, driving me to continuously refine and elevate the artistry of skincare and makeup.

Day 1: Welcome & Relaxation
Morning: Arrive, settle in, and brunch at a local spot like “Mimosas Gourmet.”
Afternoon: Start the visit at DCHB’s MedSpa for the “Best Glow Job in Town.” Enjoy the IV-infusion, rejuvenating skin treatments, and a pampering session.

Lunch: Stop at “Mountains Edge Marketplace” for local food trucks offering diverse cuisines.
Afternoon: Relax or explore the Las Vegas Strip, enjoying iconic attractions like the Bellagio Fountains or the High Roller.
Evening: Indulge in a dinner experience at Javier’s at The Cosmopolitan, blending Latin flavors and a lively ambiance.

Day 4: LGBTQ+ Night Out
Morning: Brunch at DW Bistro known for its Caribbean-inspired cuisine.
Afternoon: Relax at a local spa or take a leisurely stroll in Sunset Park.
Evening: Dive into the LGBTQ+ nightlife starting at The Garden Las Vegas for drinks and drag, followed by dancing at Piranha Nightclub or GYPSY’S Nightclub for a vibrant night out.
