Meet jordan Siudy | Videographer, photographer, content creator, Sales consultant

We had the good fortune of connecting with jordan Siudy and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi jordan, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I think when it comes to starting your own business the first question you need to ask yourself is “Do I have the skills needed to grow my business?”
For myself I had already been working in sales getting paid commission so the first thing that I focused on was high activity. I could already make a good video and that skill set was growing. So it Just came down to how many people can I talk too.
My advice to anyone wanting to get started, is just speak to as many people as possible, be good to people. Offer to do free work, or work for trade. Anything to get you in the Door where you can build a client base.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What allows me to have success and fulfillment in what I do is trusting my intuition. Its important to pull inspiration from other peoples work, however trust your intuition, and trust your own taste to set yourself apart is crucial to your success. Art is subjective, if your creating from a place that fills your soul you will be in a great place.
Sometimes trusting your intuition doesn’t seem to make sense logically or in the moment. But regardless it will always lead you down the right path. We have so many things that are set up to distract us.
Doing things based off of your intuition is the key to making great art and just living a life of fulfillment.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
In the Pacific Northwest we are blessed with the ocean, Mountains and constant beauty. I would for sure take them to see some nature, Water falls at Lynn canyon, Whytecliff park, we would drive to Squamish to see the sea to sky highway. Check out Whistler. Then in Vancouver, sea wall bike ride is always a blast, spend a day at 3rd beach. Then hit downtown for some good eats. Usually , Ramen, Pho or Sushi is a good go too! Vancouver is an amazing city with something to offer for everyone. I would definitely show them the things and gems of the city that apply most to there personality.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
