We had the good fortune of connecting with Jules Lavallee and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jules, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I have been a freelance writer for over 10 years covering celebrities, world leaders, business leaders, and humanitarians. In 2025, I decided to launch Formidable Woman US, Formidable Men US, and Empowered Entrepreneur Magazine. For Formidable Woman US, I showcase inspiring and empowerment women. For Formidable Men US, I showcase celebrities, and business leaders. For Empowered Entrepreneur Magazine, I showcase men and women globally who are making an impact. I have a big network in the Middle East. I have featured many business leaders in the magazine.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What sets me apart? My undeniable work ethic. I wake up at 4:30 AM and I get to work. Every day of my life is dedicated to telling the stories of women from all walks of life. I typically write on average 30 interviews a week. Along with my magazines, I write freelance for global magazines covering business, tech, AI, and other topics. What excites me? Every day I am connecting with new faces. I have met so many wonderful entrepreneurs, all with unique stories. I find learning about different subjects interesting. I have gotten to know many people on a personal level, and it has been very fulfilling.

How did I get where I am today professionally. Was it easy? It took 10 years to build a powerful network. I am now connected to high-profile business leaders across the global, celebrities, and royals. This took dedication and hours of hard work. Typically, 60+ hour work weeks. I had to earn the trust of many. I network daily. This is critical to my success.

Lessons that I have learned along the way: Hard work does pay off. Patience is a must in the writing and publishing business.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Mother Tongue Restaurant in West Hollywood is an oasis with an awesome staff. It is on the top floor, and you can see the Hollywood sign. I enjoy The Tower Bar. It has great food and awesome views. I spend a lot of time in Beverly Hills. All the restaurants are unique and great to people watch.
