Meet Julian Vidaurrazaga | Actor

We had the good fortune of connecting with Julian Vidaurrazaga and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Julian, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I pursued my acting career because I wanted to entertain, bring joy and emotion to the audience with my performance. I also was inspired to pursue my career when I was 5 years olds and watched my first Spiderman movie. The energy I felt from Tobey Maguire’s performance, made me want to bring the same energy towards others and because I also love super hero movies.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What sets me apart from others is I like to stay committed to my work and overcome the challenges set to me, I am most proud of the fact that I did not give up when things got tough. I got to where I am today by staying consistent, practicing my craft, and going through trial and error. A lesson I learned is to not take things personal because sometimes your characteristics are not fit for a specific character, but you must move past this and work towards getting the next role. I would like to share that my parents came to the US to give my siblings and I a better future and thats what I intend to do to honor them, this is why giving up is not an option.

Their were a lot of challenges along the way but having a strong mindset helped a lot. I am most excited to share my upcoming projects releasing this summer. I have a animated cartoon series called “Mystery Box” where I played the role of Matteo Ramos. I also have a short film that will release in all film festivals in the summer called “My little Caregiver”, where I play the role of Jack. Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would first take them to eat at my favorite spot, Pho 72, after that I’d take him to Big Bear to look at the views and admire the Beauty the area holds. Another place filled with fun to check out is the Riverside Game Lab, which is filled with arcade games along with areas around it to eat.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to shoutout my parents, because without them I wouldn’t be where I am as an actor. They did not only keep me strong through all the rejections I received in the industry, but encouraged me to keep going alongside compromising their time.
