We had the good fortune of connecting with Justice Hall and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Justice, what habits do you feel play an important role in your life?
I could credit many habits but, I’ll start with Peace and Honesty. I practice peace. Peace, one of the most underperform actions today. A Peace of mind / lifestyle allows me to work from a balanced perspective where I’m allowing all energies in, to transform, inspire or recycle. It’s where I’m directly connected, creating with the universe. I believe real art is self expressing. And the more transparent I am, the more peaceful, free’er I become. Which allows me the strength/power I need to be create. Exercising is also a practice/habit I frequent that brings an abundance of peace as well.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
The Fruit Mkt. FRUIT ( Forever Rooted United Inspired Temples) is just that. An idea of a space sort of like farmer’s market, where all individuals of all flavors join together for the benefit of each other. Inspiring, aiding, healing, co existing together. Planting good seeds into this garden of life. 9 years ago I became Plantbased. I was working professionally in nyc, exploited, overworked and underpaid. A family of four living exhaustedly trying to stay afloat. Stressed, frustrated, depressed and overwhelmed with anxiety, were just a few emotional attacks I suffered from. I needed a way out. After many research, notes and listening to all the yogis and gurus of the universe shared this healing extension of peace and completion I quit my job as an art director in nyc and ran towards Nature. I wanted the peace that the leaves flaunted in Central Park while enjoying my daily runs. I focused two years just applying all the necessary work it would take to anchor the ego and meet people in a liberating space. A place where there were no judgment only acceptance. Nyc for me was the perfect place to practice and apply this new lifestyle. Such miraculousness and valuable lessons we’re revealed to me. The experience reshapes my life and gave me a purpose to responsibly use my talents. The Fruit Mkt. was created.

Any great local spots you’d like to shoutout?
I don’t live in a LA, but when I visit. I like to run the land. My favorite spots to run are Griffith Park, Santa Monica Pier and obviously Runyon Canyon. I usually prepare my own foods and or cook for friends and family when I’m in town. So I’ll hit up the original farmers markets to grab fresh produce. Also my friend has her own market in leimert park called SuprMrkt. So I grab fresh organic produce with her as well.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
