We had the good fortune of connecting with Justin Eldridge and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Justin, how do you think about risk?
Risk plays a very important part of multiple facets of my life. As a professional skateboarder for the last 20 years, I found myself taking risks on a daily basis to achieve goals. Through this experience I learned at a young age, the value of both trial and error and risk and reward. Coming from the skateboard world where I was very well known, to the golf industry that I was foreign to with a first of it’s kind product (The Original Tee Pick) was one of the greatest risks I’ve ever taken. Big or small – I feel like in life there are many risks we all have to take. If you love something and truly believe in it the risks become easier and more rewardiing.

What should our readers know about your business?
The Number Thirty Three is based around having an idea and following through. What started as a slight tweak on a toothpick turned into a brand that is continuously bringing flavor to the golf industry.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We are based in Redondo Beach, CA so we would start out at Terranea Resort found right on the coast of Palos Verdes for a round at the PGA style 9-hole par 3 golf course and 4 amazing restaurants and whale watching. Next we would ride bikes up the Strand and stop off at any of the South Bay beaches for some fun in the sun. Next head to Abbot Kinney in Venice for eclectic array of bars. restaurants and shopping – our favorites include Gjelina, The Butchers Daughter and The Tasting Kitchen. Tons of hiking in the Santa Monica Mountains and end with a trip to the Hollywood Sign.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
