We had the good fortune of connecting with Justin McDaniel and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Justin, every day, we know how much execution matters, but we think ideas matter as well. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
The idea for Adjustin’ LA came from a real need I kept seeing: people were stressed, overbooked, and struggling to find time for their health. I was working in the wellness space and noticed that while people valued chiropractic care, the traditional clinic model wasn’t always convenient or personalized enough. So I thought, “what if I brought high-level, customized care directly to them?”. Whether they were busy professionals, parents, or just burnt out from driving across LA, I wanted to create a service that removed barriers and elevated the experience. That’s how Adjustin’ LA was born; a mobile, concierge-style chiropractic service designed to meet people where they are, literally and figuratively.

What should our readers know about your business?
Adjustin’ LA is a mobile chiropractic practice focused on delivering high-quality, personalized care directly to people’s homes or offices. I started it because I saw how many people in LA were overwhelmed, burnt out, or just didn’t have time to prioritize their health. I wanted to make chiropractic care feel more accessible, convenient, and premium; something that fits into their lifestyle, not the other way around.

Right now, I still work full-time while building Adjustin’ LA on evenings and weekends, which definitely hasn’t been easy. But the vision keeps me going. I’ve had to stay incredibly organized, focused, and patient with the process. One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that growth doesn’t have to be all at once, it just has to be consistent. Every client I serve is a reminder of why I started this.

What I’m most proud of is the trust I’ve built with my clients; they’re not just getting adjusted, they’re receiving care that’s thoughtful, customized, and deeply intentional. Adjustin’ LA isn’t just a business, it’s a service built around people who want to feel better, move better, and stay consistent with their wellness goals.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend came to visit LA for a week, I’d make sure they got the full LA experience. For me, this equates to a mix of wellness, great food, culture, and community.

We’d kick things off with some recovery such as contrast therapy, red light, and IVs. Afterwards, we would grab coffee at La La Land or Menotti’s in Venice before heading to Palisades Park for a chill walk with ocean views.

Food-wise, LA never disappoints. Breakfast at Dialog Cafe in West Hollywood for their legendary breakfast burrito…it’s one of those simple pleasures that just hits every time. For lunch, we’d hit Gjusta in Venice. The deli-style spread, fresh sourdough, and smoked fish options are always a win. For dinner, we’d go big with Bestia or Osteria Mozza for a more refined Italian experience. I’d plan a taco crawl through Koreatown or Highland Park with a few friends and jump from truck to taqueria to taste what LA really does best. And, of course, we’d make time for some classic rooftop or patio dining with a sunset view and a solid playlist.

During the day, we’d hike Temescal Canyon or go for something more scenic like the Solstice Canyon trail in Malibu. I’d sprinkle in some mobile recovery sessions (maybe even an adjustment and a stretch!) just to keep us feeling good. And of course, we’d end with a beach day in Malibu or Will Rogers with a cooler packed, music on, just soaking it all in.

That’s the beauty of LA: it’s diverse, vibrant, and there’s truly something for everyone. Whether you’re into wellness, nightlife, food, or just need to reset, LA delivers…especially when you’re surrounded by good people.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Absolutely, I wouldn’t be where I am without the people who poured into me along the way. First, my family for their support and encouragement that gave me the confidence to build something of my own. I also have to shout out the incredible mentors and colleagues I’ve worked with in the wellness space who challenged me to think bigger and stay aligned with my purpose. And to my early clients, the ones who trusted me to show up at their homes and deliver a premium level of care before there was a website or a brand, I owe so much to them.
