We had the good fortune of connecting with Justin Meeks and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Justin, what’s the end goal, career-wise?
The end goal with my business is just to continue to create an experience that people really enjoy, and will continue into the personal self care / wellness rituals they create for themselves or others. I take such pleasure in creating products and services that really benefit all types of people from all backgrounds and walks of life . I am most happy and feel fulfilled with sharing all my knowledge and skill and in turn having clients see a difference and really feel the changes from taking care of themselves. Professionally at the end of my career id like to look back and be spread across the vast regions of the globe sharing my products techniques and creations with all to enjoy and experience.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I run a holistic spa practice and focus on healing the skin with various state of the art equipment as well as rituals and methods from my learnings. I think in a modern age it’s very important to reflect on the ways of the past to learn how to move into the future . Aside from my spa practice i created an apothecary and retail various incense , herbs and candles. I am most passionate about healing others and creating experiences for my clients to enjoy. My tag line for my spa practice is ” cherish the skin your’e in” which essentially is saying its all you get so treat it well and take very good care of it . I started both my business endeavors in the pandemic and learned so much about the ins/outs of business because i had so much time to figure where i wanted to go and exactly what i wanted to do. In the end it was simplifying the things iv’e always been interested in and loved to do for others or make for others. My company is truly about feeling good and using and creating rituals for yourself that amplify that good feeling .

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Firstly we would head to the La Cañada korean spa to ground in and relax together. Its the perfect place for a bit of steaming and hot stone lounging .

Next i would say wed have lunch at my favorite spot in pasadena which is the raymond!

Throughout the week but in no order wed catch a show at the hollywood bowl or the palladium
whichever has something to see !
if not that then pantages theater in hollywood for some live theater .

Bowling is a must in the spare room at the hollywood roosevelt

A trip to malibu to point dume to watch the sunset for sure because its a magical must –

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I was always most inspired from beginnings as an esthetician at AVEDA. I had the most mazing teachers and instructors from all parts of the industry that were filled with experiences and learnings from the journeys they had in the industry working. Healing other through skincare has always been my passion and healing the skin with a client always brings me much joy. I always of course lastly but certainly not least would like shoutout the support of all my friends and family in all my endeavors.
