We had the good fortune of connecting with Justina Leone and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Justina, is there a quote or affirmation that’s meaningful to you?
“Capitalizar el error” or “Leverage the mistake” in english,

We believe that every situation or problem faced opens the door to an opportunity for improvement. This mindset has allowed us to grow and learn without limits, from when there were just two of us in the studio to now, with a team of over forty.

But who are we?

Leone Loray Arquitectura, is a studio founded by Justina Leone and Gaston Loray based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. A young company, born in 2013 and growing year by year.

We are already more than 30 professionals that make up this great team; between architects, interior designers, engineers, landscape architects and administrative staff. We specialize in carrying out customized projects; special for each client anywhere in the country and the world.

During these 10 years we managed to set foot in 4 markets; Argentina, United States, Italy and Uruguay, where we have offices and partners to be able to offer the highest quality of service.

In the studio we project architecture, interior design and landscaping; for us it is fundamental to think each project in an integral way; the search is always to be able to interpret new ways of living, mixing and organizing spaces in a contemporary way and that is why we incorporate the design of our line of furniture and objects, as well as research material and prototypes.

We define our projects as timeless, impactful and unique.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What we’re most proud of as a studio is being able to bring a dream to life—a vision accompanied by a lot of hard work—and turn it into a project that enhances and complements our clients’ lifestyle. There’s nothing more satisfying than reaching the presentation day and seeing the client moved by the result, hearing them say, ‘You got inside my head, this is exactly what I wanted.’ Those words mean everything.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take my friend to José Ignacio in Uruguay, to enjoy the natural surroundings and the preserved environment that respects the coastal spirit. This experience is complemented by excellent architecture, a family-friendly atmosphere, and a relaxed vibe.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to thank each member of the studio, those who have been here from the beginning and those who joined along the way. Together, we have learned and grown, both personally and professionally, sharing the same passion for design.
