We had the good fortune of connecting with K3nn3di and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi K3nn3di, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My thought process is really just “can I see it? Yes, then I can do it”. Then I’m starting to plan out my steps, what do I need and what do I have. And honestly always stay optimistic about my goals and my process. I think when you have real passion for something you can’t just stop.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am a musical artist, I sing and I also song write and creatively direct. I had my vision about who I wanted to be as an artist and with that I build k3nn3di wold. K3nn3di world is a place where all the things I am can be experienced, my music that is 80s/70s inspired, the technology I believe is useful and important, my fashion is a big part of it too! Every little detail is important and what makes my world unique. I love to mix cyberpunk and vaporwave and I love to tell story with my art and that’s something you are gonna see more of. My journey has been developed over years of growth and failing, a big part of success is also finding the right team so support you and to understand the vision. I think it’s important to know who you are, and what you stand for and where you wanna go, because if you don’t there is a lot of people that believe they know what’s better for you and that’s where I feel like you taking a step backwards. I believe anything is possible and that might sound cliche but it’s true, we are creating things out of thin air everyday, we are creators and that’s a powerful thing once you step into it. But you have to believe in yourself and your process and that has been my biggest challenge and my biggest success. Don’t ever compare yourself to anyone else process because each journey is different and what’s meant for you will always find you.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Their so many cool spot in LA, and each spot is its own thing.. I would wanna take my friends to Malibu, for dinner at Nobu, and drive a long the Pacific Ocean during the day and go for a hike, I’m a person who loves amusement parks so we would probably take a trip to universal studios or six flags.. I would take my friends to different studios to show them how and where we are creating the magic, I would take them to Hollywood hill and eat at Yamashiro and see the view of Hollywood. We would walk in the art district of DTLA and go out dancing at Level 8 or break room 86, I would also love to show them the jazz night at Delilah and maybe take a drive to Laguna beach to see the real stunning beaches of California.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
There is so many people that has been apart of my journey in different stages, but I definitely got my strength from my mom who has been cheering me on and believing in me since I chose to leave Sweden. But everyone that has been around has been paying an important part in my growth so I am grateful for that.
