We had the good fortune of connecting with Kahren Torosyan and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kahren, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I decided to pursue an artistic or creative career because I truly knew that, that is the kind of industry I was meant to work in. As someone who works professionally and personally in social media, I love all of the aspects that go into creating what is presented to viewers. This includes but is not limited to: storytelling, photographing, modeling and creative direction.

Nevertheless, it is the ability to create freely on my personal platforms that fuel my artistry and allows me to share content I love.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
As an aspiring Digital Creator, I knew creating a personal blog was where I can showcase all of my passions.

With this in mind, KahrensPerspective.com was launched in 2017 and while it is no longer my main platform, it was my blog that further inspired me to create content and grow my community on Instagram.

Though we may hear it often, I really believe that staying true to yourself is what will set you apart from everyone else and give followers a reason to engage with your journey. Everyone is different and that is the beauty behind social media — we are all sharing what makes us, us.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
One of my favorite places in Los Angeles is Platform in Culver City.

Platform LA is a shopping and community center that houses carefully curated brands and culinary artists for an incomparable shopping and dining experience. Aside from the boutiques and eateries, Platform also hosts events and pop-up shops as well.

There is always something to do and something to see at Platform which makes for the perfect place to spend an afternoon, especially with visitors.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
While there is no “one” specific person/etc. that I dedicate my shoutout to, I was and still are endlessly inspired by the many content creators that started before me. A few of these creators include Tania Sarin (@Taniasarin), Alberto Rey (@albertoortizrey) and Tezza Barton (@Tezza.barton).

It was following their content on Instagram that inspired me to begin sharing my personal style through artistic visuals and educational brand-knowledge.
