We had the good fortune of connecting with Kareem Amado and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kareem, what do you attribute your success to?
Keeping God first and seeking Him is the foundation upon which everything else is built. For me, it’s not about achieving success, but about staying true to my purpose and allowing my faith to guide me in every decision I make. When you put God first, you open yourself up to infinite possibilities and blessings. It’s not about seeking validation from the world, but about staying grounded in your values and principles.

In my brand, we prioritize integrity, humility, and kindness. We believe that when you operate from a place of love and compassion, you attract the right people and opportunities that align with your vision. It’s not about being perfect; it’s about being authentic and transparent in your journey.

By keeping God at the forefront, we’re reminded that our success is not our own, but a gift from above. This mindset allows me to stay humble, grateful, and focused on the greater good. It’s not about individual achievement, but about using my talents and resources to make a positive impact on the world.

So, the most important factor behind my success is my unwavering commitment to my faith and values. It’s the anchor that holds us steady in the midst of chaos, and the driving force that propels us towards our purpose. When you put God first, you’ll be amazed at what can be accomplished.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
As a multifaceted artist, I’m thrilled to share my journey with you. With a passion that spans dancing, acting, modeling, emceeing, hosting, and entrepreneurship, my art is a reflection of my eclectic personality and creativity. What sets me apart is my ability to seamlessly transition between these various art forms, bringing a unique energy and charisma to each project I take on.

I’m most proud of my versatility and adaptability, which have allowed me to thrive in an ever-changing industry. From dancing in music videos to acting in films and TV shows, modeling for top brands, and hosting events and shows, I’ve been fortunate to have had a diverse range of experiences. I honestly have so many proud moments that its hard to just name one but if I had to pick my top two proudest moments was when I modeled in london and when I booked my first commercial , which was a dream come true.

My professional journey has been a rollercoaster ride, with its fair share of ups and downs. It wasn’t easy, and there were times when I doubted my abilities and felt like giving up. However, I persevered, and my passion for my craft kept me going. I overcame challenges by focusing on my strengths, learning from my weaknesses, and surrounding myself with a supportive network of mentors, peers, and loved ones.

One of the most significant lessons I’ve learned is the importance of self-care and mental health. As an artist, it’s easy to get caught up in the pressure to constantly perform and deliver, but I’ve learned that taking care of my physical and emotional well-being is essential to producing my best work. I’ve also learned to be kind to myself, to take risks, and to embrace failure as an opportunity for growth.

I want the world to know that I’m more than just a performer – I’m a storyteller, a dreamer, and a creative force to be reckoned with. My brand is built on authenticity, inclusivity, and empowerment, and I strive to inspire others to embrace their individuality and pursue their passions, no matter how impossible they may seem. My story is one of resilience, determination, and a refusal to be bound by conventional norms. I’m excited to continue pushing boundaries, breaking barriers, and leaving a lasting impact on the world through my art.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Absolutely! I’d like to dedicate my shoutout to the many mentors I’ve had in my life, those who saw potential in me when I didn’t even see it in myself. At a time when I was discovering myself and trying to break into the industry I’m in now. Those mentors took me under their wing and taught me the ins and outs of the industry, always pushing me to strive for excellence. There guidance, patience, and unwavering support have been instrumental in my growth, and I’m forever grateful for that. Without them and they know who they are, I wouldn’t be where I am today. So this shoutout is to them if they ever read this – thank you for being an incredible role models and for believing in me even when I doubted myself.
