We had the good fortune of connecting with Karina Paz and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Karina, how do you think about risk?
Risk is the motion you need to take in order to move forward with your life. I am saying this as if it’s the easiest thing to do, but I know very well that the energy before taking a risk can be debilitating sometimes. A lot of fear can come from that. This is what stops a lot of people from better opportunities and really getting what they want out of life. But it’s through stepping into something new that we truly move out of our old energetic field and allow new experiences to come through. My nature seems to lean on the side of caution, which is why I know how challenging taking a risk can be. But, I can attest to the fact that every time I take a risk, it always leads me in the right direction.

Even if at first If I think I “failed”. The fact that I even stepped outside of myself to try it is an accomplishment. And from that, momentum sparks new ideas, new directions and less worry about what happens if I “fail”. You can’t let the fear of taking a risk hold you back. It’s going to stop you from having a life. I have seen it happen to me and its what I help my clients overcome. I love this quote by J.K. Rowling that says,” It is impossible to live without failing at something, unless you live so cautiously that you might as well not have lived at all-in which case, you fail by default.” That reminds me that greatest disservice anyone can do for themselves is not even try. I ASSURE you, you will surprise yourself on just how capable you are if you DO.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am a Channeled Soul Coach specializing in Masculine/Feminine energy & also manage the rock band Tide-Eye. Its very interesting that in both of these roles, the foundation remains the same. And thats being a strong support system for the souls I work with to reach higher realms. Within my coaching business, I also specialize in helping men elevate themselves to a higher level. I absolutely love coaching women as well. But what I have seen and experienced is that men aren’t given as many outlets to receive help. The collective and cosmic energy we are in is about the rise of the Divine Feminine. If you haven’t heard that term before, simply put its about the pendulum swing from a dominant masculine driven timeline to a feminine one. Thats where some people would deem that as moving from a “Patriarchal” system to a “Matriarchal” one. But the way I see it is that the goal isnt about one energy to the other, but the balance of BOTH.

So with so many resources being available to women to step into their divinity (which is fantastic), I feel its important to not leave our men behind. Its imperative that men receive support, nurturing and guidance they need to step into their own power. Thus allowing for the opportunity to let both energies meet each other in the middle and work together. Thats where true harmony lives. I love coaching and am passionate about helping people heal from their trauma and live the life they were always meant to enjoy.

I am also just as passionate about managing a Rock band. Rock music saved my life. Its what helped me through the most difficult stages of my life as a teenager. It still is a source of refuge for me. Its important to me to keep that art form alive for future generations to feel the same. and Tide-Eye is the real deal. They are influenced by the Psychedelic revolution of the 1960’s and are on a mission to keep that spirit alive.

Neither of these fields are “easy”. But its totally worth all the sacrifices made to bring this type of healing through coaching and music to people. The lessons I’ve learned is what becomes my work. Their is nothing more fulfilling than being of service to others with the gifts you were given,

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Los Angeles is my HOME. I was born and raised here and have a lot of pride for this land. I am a true Valley Girl as I haven’t lived anywhere else. So I really wanted to spotlight some amazing places in the San fernando Valley. Quite frankly, its where I think some of the most fantastic down to earth people live as well in this city. So let me take you on a real Locals tour!

Eats- James Restaurant. Growing up, every Sunday after church we would eat at James Restaurant in San Fernando. Its one of the few diners that started in the 50’s left in The Valley. Anything for breakfast is fantastic. But their waffles are my favorite. It has a vintage vibe with a homey feel.

Drinks-The Odyssey. The Odyssey is a Steakhouse in Granada Hills; so technically its also a great place to eat. With their Weekend buffet as a crowd favorite (it is great!) it is nice to be able enjoy their amazing view for a cocktail hour. It feels like a secluded little secret that gives you a view of the Valley that isn’t to well known. As a Rock N roll lover, I cant resist recommending their “Ginny Hendricks”.

Visit-Lake Balboa Park. Im almost hesitant to recommend this Beautiful little Oasis because its one of my favorite places to escape in Peace. But its too good not to share. This park has an adorable little lake that has swan paddle boats. These might be fighting words, but i think theirs are better than Highland Parks! Bike paths and rentals, playgrounds, baseball fields, tennis courts and a golf course. Truly a great nature day with plenty to do.

Shop-The Saugus Speedway Swapmeet. Technically this is already the Santa Clarita Valley, but its a place most people from the Valley make a treck to. A swapmeet is a flea market, and they have everything you could need. There are the regulars who sell there (checkout Grayskull Vinyl for weekly updated records) but every week (as they are open every Sunday and Tuesday) is a chance to find new collectibles!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
We are all standing on the shoulders of giants, I completely agree with that. There have been so many people who have inspired me throughout my life, and I am extremely grateful for that. But in this moment in time I want to give a shoutout to 2 inspiring young women who have really lit my heart up. One is my own Spiritual Leadership coach which is Hannah Love. Hannah has catapulted me in my business and success in it. When I was her age, I wasn’t nearly as confident and poise as she is. She is a powerhouse in helping other women achieve financial independence in business. Not just through Spiritual Leadership, but in teaching others the power of investing in crypto. That combination is just pure FIRE. You can find her info here https://linktr.ee/hannahlove432.

Also, my dear sister Zoe Dane. I am blown away with her work everyday on how passionate she is about helping women claim their sovereignty through their embodiment. I have been honored to witness her exponential growth in her spiritual leadership and her devotion to the divine. She exemplifies what it is to be a feminine leader in this new energy in where her mission is to truly have the feminine collective heal through our generational wounds. And oh yea…she’s my podcast co-host as well on Dripping in Devotion. You can reach her on her IG at Zoedane.

And lastly, a book that is dear to my heart and amplifies my own work is The Kybalion. Its a book filled with Ancient wisdom through Hermetic teachings. I feel that the foundation of Universal Laws is presented to us in this small, yet magical, book. I know EVERYONE can find something in there that resonates with their own Spiritual journey, whatever that may be.
