Meet Kathryn Davis | Owner, Blessed Events, CA

We had the good fortune of connecting with Kathryn Davis and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi kathryn, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind my success and the success of my brand is happy brides/clients. I consider my brand and business as successful due to the 10 years of happy couples. Many of whom I am happy to say I have long standing friendships with after being hired for their wedding. Money is our societies idea of success and while financial success is great, nothing compares to the feeling of a long term happy clients.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I started Blessed Events as a wedding officiant presiding over marriage ceremonies in Southern California, from there we expanded into event decoration, photography and wedding day of coordination. To be honest, we added wedding day of coordination after seeing too many chaotic and unorganized weddings with family and bridal party sweaty, running around up until the wedding when they should have been relaxing and enjoying this special day with the bride & groom. My heart just broke to see this and how we could help and keep couples on budget and have an amazing day. I am a big believer in education and business certification so I made sure to get certified and research event planning and coordination. Luckily with my legal background and a passion for helping others we have assisted hundreds of couples over the past 10 years. What sets Blessed Events, CA apart is our professionalism, friendly fun demeanor and motherly instincts overlooking the best interests of our clients. Our brand is friendly, compassionate, honest and affordable.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would have to say in Riverside, CA I would show them the Mission Inn hotel and spa. It is a popular site in the area and a gorgeous historic building with a long interesting history not to mention it is absolutely beautiful all year round. In downtown Riverside near the hotel there are a lot of fun interesting places to eat and shop. My favorite coffee house is within walking distance from the hotel, Back to the Grind with delicious coffee and a groovy atmosphere. Staying at the Mission Inn I would suggest booking a day at the spa for delicious beauty treatments. Check out the local vintage shops and have dinner at the classic french resturaunt, Le Chat Noir. For the best Mexican food, visitors should stop in to Miguel’s Jr. in nearby Corona or Norco.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to shoutout to my team at Blessed Events, without you we would not be here and successful today! Thank you, Gloria, Madison and Naomi.
