We had the good fortune of connecting with Katie | Andie | Gabi and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Katie | Andie | Gabi, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
We decided to start food_for_the_foodies because we wanted to mix up working our typical 9-5’s. We met at our first job out of college and were commuting at least 2 hours per day. We felt like we needed something to break up the week and not feel like we were living for the weekends. We all had a love for all things food and how it could bring together a group of people.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Our business started organically, as we had already been taking photos of our food long before launching our Instagram. That part came easily, but the real challenge lay in creating a cohesive brand and posting consistently. As this started as a passion project, we’ve prioritized staying authentic and true to our values, which has fostered organic growth. By focusing on bringing people together and exploring cultures through food, our brand continues to evolve. We take pride in the progress we’ve made and remain committed to continuing to explore new cuisines and restaurants.
