We had the good fortune of connecting with Katie Williams and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Katie, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
The formation of my brand Katie the Creatress started in April 2020. Leading up to that April, I had switched colleges 3 times in under a year as an Education major with a focus in dance teaching. After obtaining a Child Development Associate certification, I still felt a void. An acquaintance of mine shared a post from a friend of theirs who was an intuitive reader and energetic healer. I scheduled a reading and from there I was hooked! Spirituality is something I’ve been fascinated with from the age of 11, but it was more so around manifestation as opposed to intuitive and energetic work. Simultaneously, I began a personal journey with healing painful periods, chronic constipation, and condition known as vaginismus. I started to notice that as I healed my body, my intuition and manifesting abilities grew stronger, and vice versa. These breakthroughs fascinated me, and I proceeded to make videos and share them online. This evolved into to becoming a coach and speaker with a focus in womb healing and feminine embodiment.

I’ve had the opportunity to be featured in podcasts, magazines, and speak on stage. Having a business has given me the opportunity to fulfill one of my most important values which is community. Through community, we can elevate one another so we can live a life where we are liberated and loved.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
It would have been easy to look at the restrictions I was experiencing with my body and grow bitter, but I knew there had to be a better, more blissful way of living. My menstruation was causing extreme pain and discomfort every single month. I went down a rabbit hole of learning about my hormones as well as the energetics of the womb. Today, I am proud to say that my periods are pain-free. I’ve seen this statement trigger women, and rightfully so. We have been told our whole lives that our period pain is normal, however my experience and the experiences of my clients beg to differ.

Along with healing my period, I was diagnosed with a condition called vaginismus. Vaginismus is a condition where the vaginal and pelvic floor muscles are chronically tight which causes intimacy to either be painful or impossible. Connecting with my body through healing vaginismus taught me some of the most fundamental lessons I believe we should all know in life, like how to trust, how to feel safe to surrender, and how to expand and actually be open to experiencing pleasure in all forms.

This adventure overall with my feminine energy and body led me to discovering the manifesting potentials of the womb. When I speak with others about how we can use the womb to manifest I receive facial expressions of amazement and others exclaiming “Tell me more!” Our womb was never meant to hold us back, but rather to hold the power of the universe within our own bodies. My work is all about loving being a woman through healing the womb and maximizing its potential to manifest the life you envision.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I live in an interesting location in south New Jersey! We are within 30 minutes of Philadelphia, and an hour and a half away form New York City. But our area is full of life, restaurants, and shopping. I would for sure take them to Sea Isle City on the Jersey shore. Sea Isle is such a charming beach town! The streets are lined with cute shops of clothes, candles, and sweet treats. (Don’t get me started on salt water taffy!) The beach is quite calm and easy to access. Yum Yum’s ice cream is my favorite place to stop in Sea Isle. We also have an abundance of restaurants of all different types of cultures. We have public transportation to Philadelphia if you want to experience the city. If you are in New Jersey, make sure to stop at a diner! You can’t beat all day breakfast!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There are so many people I could mention from coaches, to teachers, family, etc., but I would definitely say that my partner in my romantic relationship has played a major role in the woman I’ve evolved into. I’ve been so many different versions of myself throughout my almost 6 year relationship and my partner has fully embraced all of my ebbs, flows, and breakthroughs.
