We had the good fortune of connecting with Keambre Jobbers and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Keambre, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Honestly since High school I knew I would be in the beauty industry, I just never knew it would be makeup, (only because I could never do brows to save my life) makeup is definitely what I enjoy doing, it started off as a hobby and I turned it into a passion. I also added a 90s theme cosmetic line

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
People think of makeup and say that’s easy to do….. no, makeup is a craft that a lot of people can’t master, I spent years not having consistent clients, I probably would not have a client for months at a time, now I have clients coming from ever angle. Building my clientele was the hardest and being consistent with no clients is hardest but I honestly kept going, kept investing in my craft. I took a makeup 1:1 with a celebrity MUA and ever since my bookings and my craft enhanced. I’ve been doing makeup for 5 years now and 2021 is my breakthrough year. But know I’m just getting started!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Honestly, Just God and my daughter! I get way more support from strangers then the people I know
