We had the good fortune of connecting with Kendall Alexandria and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kendall, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I’ve always knew there was something deep inside of me that was way bigger than me. My experiences in life have given me a unique edge as an actor, filmmaker, author and business owner. And you get to a point in life when you no longer want to beg to sit at a table that you can create. When you do this, you are also now able to give other people a chance to grow in their craft thru what you created!

What should our readers know about your business?
My business Actors Jumpstart University is a place that I wish I had when I was starting out as an actor in Hollywood. I teach actors how to Package, Purpose & Present their gifts to the world! I’ve helped 996 plus actors start their career & believe in themselves over the years. I’ve also been able to curate, produce and direct demo reels for my clients to showcase their gifts on screen. We are able to take an everyday person and coach them to prepare for an experience on their very own movie set with our AMAZING team! We have a videographer, chef/ masseuse, photographer on set for them to leave with a high quality demo reel, headshots and a package to now put in front of decision makers. We have blessed so many people and introduced them to a higher version of themselves thru our work! I love every second of it! It wasn’t easy to build this organization but beyond worth it! I’ve learned that when you have BIG dreams you can’t be so quick to tell your BIG dreams to small minds! Everyone won’t get you but that’s ok just KEEP GOING!! I want ppl to know that I know how it feels to enter an industry scared, frightened and unsure of what to do. So you’re getting guidance from someone who is just like you in more ways that you can imagine! Donut scared, frightened and sure.. but don’t let your dream meet that grave!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Me and my best friend would def go to the SPA as we love getting pampered lol And we would go out to a nice lounge with great music and of course great food! And then we would dance the night away with laughter and unforgettable memories!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My mom and dad deserve my recognition. There would be no me without their belief and love for me over the years! They gave me a great foundation and showed me what integrity, hard work and dedication looked like in real form! I want to dedicate this article to their teachings and show gratitude for them doing the very best that they could to raise me.
