We had the good fortune of connecting with Keri Ann Kimball and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Keri Ann, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
Kimball Entertainment is a diverse media company that helps individuals and their companies level up. We primarily work with entertainment companies and individuals in the entertainment industry. Kimball Entertainment strongly believes in giving back, and as a result, we have collaborated with many non-profits over the years. We strategically partner non-profits with individuals and entertainment companies to provide maximum exposure for the non-profit while ensuring an organic and authentic match for the individual or company. Through unique introductions and press exposure, we help entertainment companies and individuals raise their awareness and public exposure, bringing them to the next level of success.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am well-educated in the Arts, and I enjoy being creative, which makes my business unique. Kimball Entertainment brings creativity and business smarts together under one roof. We pride ourselves on making smart business decisions that also allow for creative freedom. Our supporters believe in the creative process, as I do, and they value it as more important than the ROI of the company.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Some of my favorite spots in Los Angeles include the iconic Hollywood sign, which has always inspired me, and The Observatory because I am a huge fan of astrophysics. I also love the private beaches in Malibu. Los Angeles is full of amazing restaurants, museums, beaches, and rich Hollywood history. The weather is often perfect, making our evenings rejuvenating for the body and soul. I love Los Angeles and our sports teams, the Lakers and Dodgers.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There are many individuals and institutions I owe a “shoutout” for my success. First and foremost, my family, who have always encouraged and supported me in every way along this journey. A.C.T. (American Conservatory Theater, SF) and NYU Tisch School of the Arts, where I received my education and discovered my passion for Arts and Entertainment. My mentors have included many successful people in business and entertainment.

I have been fortunate to have such amazing individuals in my life who have believed in me, supported me, and guided me in my life and business. Steve Madden, the shoe guy, was my first boss, and I learned a lot from him. He also supported and encouraged me to start my own business, Kimball Entertainment. I learned about the film business from Robert Evans, who once ran Paramount Studios. Quincy Jones and Randy Jackson have mentored me in music, and David Milch has guided me in television and writing. Sherry Lansing, Cathy Konrad, and Keri Selig have shown me how to be a graceful and successful woman in the Media and Entertainment business.

I am truly blessed to have experienced such greatness in my life, and I am now honored to pass along their wisdom to those I mentor in the industry.
