We had the good fortune of connecting with Keynen a.k.a Saint Grunge Trice and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Keynen a.k.a Saint Grunge, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
The initial influence behind my personal interest to create my own brand that would, by default blossom into a business. came from my motivation being influenced alongside a consistent feeling or the emotion of getting “Short-changed”. As the hidden agendas I came to know on a personal level and by way of experience within corporate america. as well as some highly reputable brands and specific industries. Where it appears your mere existence, level professionalism, and good work ethics literally don’t constitute or render an employee’s value or wether or not they are an actual asset to anything less than or short of the understanding behind the term: “Expendable”. (LOL) I was raised to understand and also hold firm belief in the fact of my value! and to maintain a reasonable and rational morale compass. So the hard work and my many efforts that gained my successes and my accomplishes !? I do not take lightly! and I no differently than anyone else I Learned that respectfully and as transparent as I can be when i say this! “No one was going to compensate me for the work ethics that i possess honestly! and i’ve never been the guy who id going to beg or over explain and extend my immaculate fruits of accurate labor. Trying to convince someone that i worthy of the privileges and benefits i know I’ve rightfully earned. As well as wanting to create a space and brand that every person can relate to and also benefit from! Where I personally had to build that and create that environment for myself! I’d rather give people the joy and peace of that of tops! than having to struggle and be distressed trying to identify with what the shape of that looks like or might.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
the simplest question for me, and I think that’s just partially or solely on the account of the fact of the person type of person that I am, and I thrive heavily off of and my spirit and just whatever feels good to me and if it’s serving me. if it’s Adding to my life or if it’s not adding to the joy or the influence of my life with whatever I’m doing. if it’s not rendering me any positive or beneficial results. definitely for a fact if first off it doesn’t feel good to me by way of spirit and I’m just not Vibin with it then I’ll know whether or not I should put my interest or my time and energy into the object at hand. more over outside of what my intuition and my spirit tells me whether you know it’s a good thing for myself and spirit to invest ourselves into. I also talk it over with God and higher spirit, you know? . So by default, I feel like on account of me just naturally trusting in these two characteristics and aspects of myself you know if I’ve talked it over. I’ve assess what it is that I’m feeling and whatever my gut is telling me, you know I should settle with, for I mean, I mean the benefit of myself at the end of the day of course then I’m really really comfortable or very very certain and saying that for fact, like OK this situation or subject is something that I’m going to invest my time with or this is something that I’m just going to not put in the energy into so I think that’s how I know. That my art and whatever i choose to express openly and uncensored coming from this place of vulnerability within me! i want the art I manifest or feeling and experience i want to be honest and real but I want for the things that i produce or create or the work and services I render to people to be something or become something that is relatble of will open someone elses eyes up to the beauty of truth for them or in them . to come to that epiphany like yooo! im really not alone or the only person whose feels this way or experiences these situations or pain and disappointments

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
So for starters I’ve always been a WHOLE ASS VIBE! that’s just on account of me alone! LOL but I’m a sentimental type of man and im always mainly about doing things that are going to create the most monumental and nostalgic memories and bonding time with family and friends as well intimately. So being that I reside in Los Angeles CA More over Inglewood Area so there are alot of museums and artsy things to do ! more than likely a lot of the activities and things i would plan would be geared towards opening the mind or stimulating to mental interests as well as lots of outdoor activities and just really tap into self so that we toegther become more intuned with self which i feel inspires a more genuine connection and conversation! i like to make those around me feel as comfortable as possible! because i really want to be able to get to know them and them feel comfortable in talking about themselves or what they think about things or with how they would like for me to love on them. We’d definitely be visiting the beach specifically Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach, Venice Beach, And Santa Monica Pier. I would also take my friend Hiking at a few of my favorite parks I like to hike. With that said to name a few Kenneth Hahn Park and this park in specific also has at least 3-4 trails you can choose from in relation to wether youre looking to do intense incline hiking, low-minimal incline hiking or body effort, theres also a trail that will lead you to a bontanical garden as well as a waterfall! I love Runyon Canyon which will literally take you on a hike trail that brings you right to the area below the hollywood Sign! and you can even book a date to ride horseback up to another area also below the Hollywood Sign and then you also get to have a 5-course meal as well! I would also plan a trip for us to walk around the art and fashion districts. I honestly would want for myself and friend to be able to actually relax and be at peace and not feel over pressured or like in a setting that takes away from the attention to one another and the overall fact that were supposed to be spending time “Together” !! and I would also probably go and Visit my Bestfriend, and what I like to call a SOULtie-Partner that uncommon to some(maybe, idk) i am lucky to have! named Dymond who is also a very successful and frighteningly talented Wardrobe Designer and owner of “Dhalter Designs”. In a gloating kind of way but not being nasty or rude! I love to also recommend or take friends and people to meet him and have him create them a custom outfit or piece! and I always feel very blessed ! but also like THAT GUY! in a sense that i’m actually friends with a TALENTED PHENOMENAL AND WELL KNOWN DESIGNER! and the fact that anything he creates is solidified that you will be satisfied so the fact I can take someone else i also call a friend to meet another of my friends and then they also vibe with each other and create a bond! by way of the fact if we’re friends none of my friends have ever NOT found a common interest or something relatable to eachother! let alone feel out of place or like a third-wheel! so my friend gains another clients/supporter as well as a friend and then on the flipside they have a wardrobe designer that they know and can trust but now just the same they are able to recommend family and friends to work with someone they know as a friend and exceptional Wardrobe Designer! the way i see it , it just friends support friends as we should but also getting something out of it and the recognition of the understanding the people you’re around are of sound mind and out in the world making something of themselves and are honest hard working extremely talented creative that live their lives at their own terms

For your hard work and efforts but most of all the time! the personal time you choose to take out to make it a possibility for others to have a positive spotlight or platform to talk about our hell’ish, insanity -derived, but imperfectly unique life journeys. I would also like to thank my amazingly supportive, loving, eccentric, scary-talent, vivacious,an life-long “Sister-Partner-Bestie” Ebony Rae fashion mogul. also owner an Inventor of “TheMUSELA” and “Massè Boutique”. for yet again remaining to instill the faith and support in me that also ultimately was a blessing to have been extended this offer let alone a candidate. I love, cherish, and appreciate you so very much. with a high possibly much more than you might think you had the idea you’ve accurately known. Your kinship with me is so very precious and rare! My birth Mother Nechelle Trice (MY TWIN) , as well as My Mother Nichole Trice ( My Ollie), and My Beloved Grandmother Audrey Trice a.k.a Big/Suga Mama (My Darling Novella). My Father Christopher Trice Sr and my stand-in Brother Fathers Marcco & Christophe Eshe Trice. with the addition of Marcus, Melvin, and Cameron. My two oldest beautiful charismatic as well independent business owners/entrepreneurs on their very own. La’tonda and Dynasty you both mean so much to me and have never let me down or let myself down! thank you both for naturally possessing this magical ability to remain cool-calm-collected while simultaneously maintaining the personality and volition to be the Coolest Women in any and every room. To always bring a smile and wisdom to those you encounter and looking damn good while doing it! and being Tremendous Mothers and raising nothingless of yourselves in the upbringing of my successfull and equally amazing Nieces and Nephews. with the addition/extensions of two more big sisters Megan an Eugenia Parker. thank you both for teaching personal responsibility and accountability an ownership. For teaching me how to love on my self and embrace me! and helping me to learn how to be more responsible with my finances and how to be smart with them. My baby sister Armani whose life is short lived with her passing at the age of 5. you weren’t here very long but you taught me the biggest and most profound lessons. To always smile or find a reason no matter what i am going through because she just maintained or possessed rather the most inspiring Resilience. To my DAY ONES! and you all know who you are! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! your support, encouragement, long-talks about positive an healthier futures. with the continuance of success, for making the conscious choices everytime to listen and hear me out so that you could and can confidently say you understand what it is that I am going through even though you all can’t live that! for always reminding me of the truth of myself and the overall goal!!
