Meet Krissy G | Photographer / BTS Social media creative

We had the good fortune of connecting with Krissy G and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Krissy, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
The thought process behind starting my business really came from a dream that stayed in my heart for years. I always had a passion for photography, but life was busy and I had other responsibilities at the time. Even with everything going on, that desire to create and capture moments never left me. Eventually I realized that if God kept placing that dream on my heart, it was meant to be pursued.
Starting my business was my way of stepping out in faith and finally going after something I truly love. I wanted to build something that allows me to capture powerful moments—whether that’s athletes in their element, people celebrating milestones, or special experiences that deserve to be remembered.
For me, it’s bigger than just photography. My faith plays a huge role in everything I do. I truly believe God guided me to start my business and continues to open doors along the way. My goal is to use my gifts to tell stories through my lens and inspire others to go after the dreams placed in their hearts too.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Photography is my way of telling stories and capturing moments that people can hold onto forever. My art is really about emotion, movement, and authenticity. I love capturing athletes in their element and showing the passion, intensity, and dedication behind what they do. I also enjoy photographing life’s special moments because those memories deserve to be preserved in a powerful and meaningful way.
What sets me apart is the heart and faith behind my work. Photography isn’t just something I do—it’s something I truly feel called to. My faith in God is a huge part of my journey, and I believe He placed this passion in my heart for a reason. Every opportunity I get to create is something I’m grateful for, and I try to bring purpose, creativity, and positivity into everything I shoot.
Getting to where I am today wasn’t something that happened overnight, and it definitely wasn’t always easy. For a while, I had the dream of photography but was busy with other responsibilities in life. Even during that time, the dream never left me. Eventually I realized that if God kept placing that passion in my heart, it was meant to be pursued. Stepping out and starting my business required faith, confidence, and the willingness to grow and learn along the way.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that you have to trust the process and keep going even when things feel uncertain. Growth takes time, and every challenge is an opportunity to learn and improve. I’ve learned to believe in the vision God gave me and not compare my journey to anyone else’s.
What I want the world to know about me and my brand is that it’s built on passion, purpose, and faith. I’m someone who truly believes in chasing the dreams placed on your heart. Through my photography, I want to inspire others, capture powerful moments, and create work that tells real stories. I’m proud of how far I’ve come, but I also know this is just the beginning of the journey.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend was visiting for a week, I’d take them to experience the creativity, culture, and beauty of Los Angeles.
We’d start the trip exploring the beaches. A morning walk and coffee near Santa Monica Pier would be the perfect way to kick things off, followed by biking along the coast to Venice Beach to see the street performers, artists, and unique energy there.
Another day we’d hike up to Griffith Observatory for one of the best views of the city and the famous Hollywood Sign. At night, we’d check out the food scene—maybe dinner at Catch LA or Nobu Malibu for an amazing ocean view.
Of course, we’d also explore the creative side of LA. Walking through the art installations at The Broad and visiting the famous Urban Light at LACMA would definitely be on the list.
One day would be dedicated to shopping and people-watching along Rodeo Drive and exploring Melrose Avenue for cool streetwear and murals places I can take photos.
To end the week, we’d drive up the coast to Malibu for a sunset dinner and just enjoy the views of the Pacific Ocean. LA has so many creative, inspiring places, and I’d want my friend to leave feeling the energy, diversity, and artistry that make the city so special.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Honestly , I have to give all my thanks to GOD . Without him I wouldn’t be where I am today .
