We had the good fortune of connecting with Kristin Pittman and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kristin, every day, we about how much execution matters, but we think ideas matter as well. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
KrisSkin’s was born out of a genuine passion for skin care, a strong desire for affective, affordable treatments, and making beauty personal.

As someone who has always been fascinated by the world of skin care, I found myself constantly researching and experimenting with various products and treatments to improve my own skin. Throughout this personal journey, I realized that many skin care salons and spas didn’t offer the personalized treatments for each individual client Nor was there a discussion about the importance of an at home skin care routine.

Driven by the belief that everyone deserves to feel confident in their own skin. I set out to create a salon that would provide high-quality, results-driven, affordable skin care services–while also educating clients on the importance of using the right products at home. I wanted to empower people to take charge of their skincare journey, knowing they could rely on expert advice and tailored treatments to achieve their desired outcomes.

The core principle of KrisSkin became centered around customization. I knew that by offering personalized consultations and developing customized treatment plans, I could address the specific needs of each client effectively. This would not only lead to better results, but also create a sense of trust and loyalty with each client. As I continue to grow, my intention remains the same.

My journey into entrepreneurship and the creation of KrisSkin was fueled by my commitment to help people feel confident in their skin and deliver and deliver tailor-made results that won’t break the bank. This journey has been incredibly rewarding, and I am excited to continue making a positive impact in the lives of my clients through the transformative power of skin care.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
What sets me apart from others is my custom, affordable approach to skincare. I really take the time to listen to my clients about their skincare concerns and do what is necessary to guide them on their journey to healthy skin. I love what I do and I take so much pride in it. The best part of doing what I do is seeing my clients leave happy and confident in their own skin. I am so excited for the future. Little by little, month to month my business is growing. I have my amazing clients and the people that support me to thank.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I really don’t get up the the city that often. I’m a South Bay girl. I love taking my visitors to Old Tony’s on the Redondo Pier for a crab cocktail and their world famous MaiTai. Tony’s is a perfect spot to watch a Cali sunset. After that, I would go to the Rivera Village for dinner at either the Riviera House or Vida Modern Taqueria. Palos Verdes has beautiful spots to go hiking and see the California coast line.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to dedicate my shoutout to Come Brunch With Babes. I started meeting with this amazing group of women in January. The support, guidance, and mentorship I get from these women is next to none. We are a group of women, supporting women in business. I’ve meet so many new friends. Not to mention that I now have a financial planner, chiropractor, massage therapist, and soul alignment activator. I look forward to our monthly brunches just to see who I’m going to meet next.
