Meet K’Seas Treasures | Online Business

We had the good fortune of connecting with K’Seas Treasures and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi K’Seas, what is the most important factor behind your success?
My business, which I started with my husband Sanat, hopes to enlighten the public about how their purchases, no matter the size, can have a positive global impact on the earth by purchasing home goods that are made from sustainable material and support small businesses, which typically are owned by women and minorities.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I feel what sets our business apart from the many e-commerce businesses, is the holistic approach of focusing on not only eco-friendly home goods, but what is truly good for the consumer. Offering products that will help to create true balance in a consumer’s life, with profits being secondary, I feel this is the energy and magic that is the appeal. Plus, we recently started adding in a twice a month newsletter of gratitude for each and every customer, and the newsletter will give holistic tips on a healthy way of living in this beautiful but chaotic world.
My path to starting a business, with my husband, Sanat, was not an easy one. Once the pandemic hit, I had time to reflect on my life path and decided that owning a business with my husband was an avenue that I wanted to explore, because he and I felt passionately about helping to create a better world for all of us and animals, by offering healthier home goods choices, in which a consumer could feel good about buying, knowing that their purchase supported small businesses in the U.S. and abroad. Plus, the products are actually good for the consumer and their environments.
My brand/story is one of progressive thinking for consumers and their purchase choices, partnership and learning to appreciate the differences each partner brings forth and living consciously to minimize the wasteful impact on earth. The biggest lesson for me, that I have learned along the way is one of patience…..Sanat and I learned how to put a business together from scratch, so we had a big learning curve, which included how to create our website…and that was not an easy task, and through the process, Sanat was a gentle reminder that patience pays off and to patiently keep at our passion. Slow and steady wins the race is his motto, and he is right! 😁
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take them on a hike near the beach, then have breakfast at a nearby cafe and shop around a few small businesses.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to thank my husband, Sanat, for being a strong support system for me during the building of our business. Every time I wanted to walk away from the stressful and detailed job of building a business, from the bottom up, he reminded me of my long awaited dream, which gave me the push to get over the hump.
