Hi Kym Nicole, is there a quote or affirmation that’s meaningful to you?
“Call those things that be not as though they are. Speak victory, no matter the situation. Whatever you’re believing God for, count it done! It’s already done!”
It’s all about claiming the things you want/need and believing wholeheartedly that it is yours and will come to fruition.
I stand on that and always will. I will always have and never lack!
Please tell us more about your work. We’d love to hear what sets you apart from others, what you are most proud of or excited about. How did you get to where you are today professionally. Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges? What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way. What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?

The Glam Precinct Inc. ® (formally Kym Nicole Beauty) is a hair and makeup salon located in South Los Angeles, California where we’ve been in business for 10 years. It’s also now a growing cosmetic line and we’re so excited to currently carry a lash kit, eye lashes and an eyeshadow palette. Our motto at The Glam Precinct is, “ You Have The Right To Remain Glammed And Gorgeous”.
My name is Kym Nicole Oubre and I have 20+ years of beauty industry experience. I am a Cosmetologist, professional makeup artist, author, educator, business owner and Mom. I’ve worked hard and sacrificed a lot to be able to say that I have a successful business. It hasn’t been easy but it’s been worth it. I believe that prayer, patience and faith has held me together through the challenges of running a business. I’ve learned how real and effective manifestation and gratitude is. You truly have to be grateful for where you are right now and really believe that you’ll get to where you want to be. I’m so grateful and appreciative of all of the wonderful people that have patronized my business and continuously refer others.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Los Angeles has such wonderful places to visit! If a friend were to visit, our first stop would be to Gritz N Wafflez to eat a delicious breakfast then head to The Grammy Museum to get a little music education.. We’d swing by The Glam Precinct to get glammed and gorgeous and catch our lunch reservations at Craigs where we might spot a few celebs. We’d then spend the rest of the day at Manhattan Beach and finish the evening eating sushi at Rock Sushi Kitchen. The rest of the list wold include Sky’s Gourmet Taco, Universal Studios Tour, The Conga Room, Cafe Gratitude, The Pantages Theater, Toca Medera, Beverly Center; the list goes on and on. There’s so many wonderful places to eat, visit and play in Los Angeles.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d love to give a Shoutout to all of the hard working Women that are making the world beautiful, Mothers raising our future leaders and MY Mother (Cheryl Oubre) for being so amazing!
