We had the good fortune of connecting with Lacie Armstrong and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lacie, what do you want people to remember about you?
I want my legacy to be remembered for standing apart from the crowd. My business and myself were built on respect, honor and transparency. I want people to remember me by a small statement : “She was IN the industry, but not OF the industry”. That as for myself and my business, we were accountable, collaborative and had a passion for true artistry, not just money.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am a multi-talented professional in the realms of Television, Film, Radio, and Broadcast Journalism. My career spans a wealth of experience, where I have excelled in roles as a Producer, Assistant Director, and Production Coordinator, both in the dynamic world of on-set productions and the structured corporate landscape.

In addition to my behind-the-scenes prowess, my skills extend to the forefront of journalism. I am a proficient News Writer, adept at crafting compelling stories, and a skilled Reporter, capable of delivering news with precision and impact. My abilities also shine as a Television Host, where I captivate audiences with my engaging presence and insightful commentary.

My dedication to my craft is reflected in my academic achievements. I graduated with Cum-Laude 4.0 distinction, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Film, Television, and Media with a specialization in Broadcast Journalism from California State University – Los Angeles in May 2018. My commitment to excellence and my well-rounded skill set make me a standout professional in the world of media and entertainment.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
A day off with me would look like 1. Hitting a great brunch spot called BeaBea’s in Glendale, CA.
2. Driving to Santa Clarita for a day of thrill at Six Flags, Magic Mountain, CA.
3. Grabbing dinner at Quarters, KBBQ spot
4. And finishing the night off with some karaoke at Palm Tree.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d like to give a shoutout to God as my No.1 and following are all of my clients and friends within this industry. It wouldn’t be possible without all of you. This industry can be cruel but when you work with amazing mentors and crew in general, you can truly stay inspired on and off-set.
