We had the good fortune of connecting with Lady J and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lady, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I was a songwriter in the music industry when I decided I wanted a career change after 10 years in the business. At the time I had friends such as Erica Mena and Natalie Nunn on reality television shows and I started to research and learn about the cosmetic industry and decided to open up my own factory. I thought it would be amazing for these girls to have their own brand and push their own products. My business, Lady J Manufacturing started to bloom from there.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
What sets Lady J Manufacturing apart from the rest is our excellent customer service and our attention to detail for each product we product. In addition, we are a one stop shop. We assist our customers with fulfillment, logos, product, as well as boxing and packaging.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
When my friends or/and family visit me in Los Angeles I like to take them to Soho House in West Hollywood to have a drink and look at the skyline from the rooftop. For lunch we would stop pass II Pastaio in Beverly Hills and for dinner we would go Crustacean.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to dedicate this shoutout to my amazing customers because without them my business would not exist. My business continues to grow through word of mouth and I am forever blessed and grateful for them recommending Lady J Manufacturing.
