We had the good fortune of connecting with Last Bite Boys and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Last Bite Boys, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Last Bite Boys started from our love of exploring new foods and having a passion for being creative. Our goal is simple: stay true and authentic to ourselves, while enjoying and sharing all our delicious food experiences. We visit food spots often, new and old, and instinctively have always let the camera eat first. One day when going through our camera rolls, we realized we had tons of footage of food and drinks that we wanted to save but didn’t want to keep stored on our phones. As creatives, we thought to create an Instagram page to share our foodie visits. But what would we call ourselves? We wanted something that would represent the both of us and our culture. In Filipino culture, sometimes taking the last bit of food from a group setting is seen as “greedy”. For us, it just might mean that the food was so delicious but are too full to eat the last bite.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
The first thing that sets us apart is that the Last Bite Boys are a team of two and we don’t show ourselves on camera. We’re not opposed to be on camera, but we primarily want to focus on our POV of the best bites around (plus we might just be camera shy). What also sets us apart is our vision to capture the best, authentic moments of sharing food and drink experiences. Last Bite Boys is a hobby and side hustle for us right now. We’re not professionals in social media and marketing but we’re constantly learning along the way. The most important thing we’ve learned so far is to stay true to our values, regardless of what may be trending at the time. If it doesn’t align with us, you won’t see it from us. We want the world to know that we want to continue sharing our experiences trying out different cuisines and that we’ll work on finishing the last bite every time. We hope our vision of our culinary experiences inspire you to go out and grab a bite if you can.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take them to Santa Monica where we could rent a bike and go biking by the beach. We could visit the Santa Monica pier for some games and rides and then go grab a bite for Elephante where we could see views of the beach. Afterward, we could do a little shopping at the 3rd Street Promenade.

We would definitely need to visit Koreatown for some of the best kbbq at spots like Dae Sung Ro, Pigya, or Origin. Can’t forget some Korean chicken from Chicken Today, followed by some soju at the bar behind called, Gangnam Pocha. There’s always room for dessert and luckily some of the best ice cream at Bumsan is in the same plaza.

We would need to check out Mirate in Los Feliz for the absolute best Spicy Margaritas in LA followed by kicking it at Barnsdall Art Park (with a wine bottle of course).

Last, we would check out Downtown LA where we could visit Grand Central Market for some good eats, followed by some sightseeing around the Walt Disney Concert Hall. The Broad Museum is right around the corner and free!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
We would love to give a shoutout to our family and close friends who encouraged us from the very beginning and to this day to continue creating content. We appreciate all the encouragement!
